I'm calling it right now. I don't blame him. He came here as a child, he's made a ton of money, he's been great, but he's not going to lead any team to a championship. He's going to go somewhere where he can be the #2 guy to a superstar and he's going to enjoy life in a different city and raise his family without the pressures of being the #1 scoring option.

Cy, how did you dislike this post seemingly before it even posted? You must be a speed reader. Or did you just go off the thread title?

To think Hayward is automatically gone is presuming Hayward has no concept of injuries and how they have affected the team.

But wait, I though Exum is that superstar who is going to lead us to promised land?

I don't think it's about winning. Of course Gordon knows we could be great. And I still think when healthy we will give any team a run for its money. I just think Hayward is going to want a different experience.

Does Hayward know what money is? I think if he has as much if a concept of money as my four year old son, he will stay with the jazz. Especially after the new CBA has been announced. He's getting them paychecks.

It's not about the money at all. He is smart with his money and won't make a decision based on that, I don't think. I think he'll just want a change.

So your prediction is even less based on observable facts and things he has said, but just random thought?

Nah, he doesnt qualify for the big payday with the Jazz unless he makes an All-NBA team this year, I think.

Jazz can't offer more unless Gordon makes all NBA.
