Hayward may get 2nd start in a row .. per Sloan

What has impressed me about Ward is his ability to play the passing lanes...I dig his defense and his moves to the basket. Quite athletic the chap is.

There was a play early in the game where he was whistled for a foul, but I thought his footwork was excellent and he stayed with his defender well given the circumstances. I think he'll get his confidence eventually and will reduce some of the silly mistakes he has made. He has to adjust to the talent level of the NBA. He clearly doesn't have the strength yet to be going at guys at the basket. He will adjust that I'm sure after getting blocked a few more times.

There are some JazzFanz that seemingly want him to fail so they can have an "I told you so moment" about the pick. You would think that they would root for his success as it helps the team as a whole. I wasn't excited about the pick at first, but he has some skills that I wasn't aware of initially. He is an excellent passer, and plays decent position defense. He is already a better defender than Korver ever was (not that, that is saying much).

He had some great passes last night and played ok defense.

He definitely needs to get stronger, he has a really tough time fighting through picks.

He still bites on the pump fake a bit, but that's just a learning process.

In regards to the denizens here on the board. For the most part, they're all empty individuals with pathetic lives who only know one thing. Complaining, crying and setting value to their sad lives by bringing down others. While I was not happy with the Hayward pick, I definitely want the kid to succeed.

I would really like to see the measurement. Not quite sure he is 6'8", but sometimes somebody else's injury is your time to improve your game.

According to the NBA predraft camp Gordon is exactly 6'8". However his wingspan is slightly below average for 6'8" NBA players.

For comparision he has the same standing reach as Danny Granger and Richard Jefferson. Also that is a .5" higher than Morris Almond reached.

Which fans do some Jazz fans hate the most?

Other Jazz fans.

I thought he played well. I say we just start him and bring bell/CJ off the bench. I mean, we are so weak at the 2 him developing could only help.

For every ncoloradojazz, I suppose there has to be a udflyer to balance out the universe.

Perfect place for someone like you, eh Richard?
