There was a play early in the game where he was whistled for a foul, but I thought his footwork was excellent and he stayed with his defender well given the circumstances. I think he'll get his confidence eventually and will reduce some of the silly mistakes he has made. He has to adjust to the talent level of the NBA. He clearly doesn't have the strength yet to be going at guys at the basket. He will adjust that I'm sure after getting blocked a few more times.
There are some JazzFanz that seemingly want him to fail so they can have an "I told you so moment" about the pick. You would think that they would root for his success as it helps the team as a whole. I wasn't excited about the pick at first, but he has some skills that I wasn't aware of initially. He is an excellent passer, and plays decent position defense. He is already a better defender than Korver ever was (not that, that is saying much).
