As far as the Elder Hayward debate goes, I think he will be fine and a decent piece.
The problem is that we as fans waited yrs for this pick and had high expectations for it.
I still would have preferred Aldrich, Or Davis myself.

Incorrect. It was a first date and it went well. That said, Im in a bit of a conundrum as I have a second date with another girl this coming Thursday. I like them both. They are both attractive and both intelligent. How do I choose?

Now in all seriousness, if you really like both of them, ask yourself which one makes me a better person. Do I like the person I am better with X or Y.

I know you aren't marrying them yet, but ask them questions about what their life goals are.
Who do they want to become? Which one wants to the same kind of things you do? Who do you think would be willing to share your dreams with you, and who's goals would you most like to pursue?

I know that's deep and for a Jazz site and I'm not sure everyone's going to appreciate it, but that's 1-Jazzfan's idea.

Date them both. You don't owe either one anything. If you want, tell them you're seeing other people. I did that before I got serious. I was dating a few different chicks at once and told them. One chick got all mad on the first date. I was like, "Listen, I didn't have to tell you. I told you because I'm an honest guy, blah, blah, blah." A week later she invited me to a wedding for the weekend after that because she wanted the goods.

Honestly, it'll subconsciously make you more attractive to chicks.
