What's the cockles of his heart?
Which makes Burks a perfect fit for a 6th man a la Maggette. Hayward was a starter last season. Williams has been a starter. Burks played very limited minutes as a rookie. I think Alec would be ok coming off the bench if he were to get 20+ mins.Burks is the only player that can drive without the aid of a screen. That has to raise his stock considerably. I think we could see Burks and Hay starting at the 2 and 3. The guy who hasn't done anything in a Jazz uniform is Marv (although you have to like his chances of beating Burks for a starting job).

What I'd do is start Marvin and Gordon and sub out Williams early, sliding Hayward over to SF and bringing in Burks at SG. Guess the only problem in doing that is Foye doesn't play much, unless you have him and Alec at the guard positions. Foye brings the ball up and then becomes the off guard with Alec initiating the offense. Defensively, Foye guards the opposing PG. There's a logjam at the wings just like there is at the 4/5.
