Hayward should stop chuking, Bigs have to get more involved in offense !!!

This.

Nothing worse than seeing a timid player pass up a wide open three with <10 seconds left to a covered player stuck on the wing who eventually chucks up a contested three.

I wasn't advocating that he pass up a good shot for a bad shot. I was advocating setting up a good shot for a player who was making shots like Kanter was. Seriously if Kanter shot 1-16 would you want him to keep shooting.

The two players most special in this team are Enes Kanter and Derrick Favors. We have to keep them more involved in offense especially Kanter. Hayward is a good player, but Kanter and Favors could be special. Look at Kanter how good he is performing coming from a shoulder injury, beeing not in shape physical and mentally. Look at Favors, he is growing with confidense, gettin better every game.
Especially Hayward is taking to many shots and he can not hit them efficiently, maybe he will never be able to score efficiently as a first option. Kanter and Favors are taking 11 and 12 shots per game, both have to take atleast like 14 and 15 shots per game. It would not just help our bigs grow and learn to scorer consistently at many as possible positions, it also would be much more efficient than Hayward taking bad shots again and again.

The grow of Kanter and Favors is much more important than the grow of "I have to get a max " Hayward. No racist but, a 6´8 white guy, who is a spot-up shooter, you can find everywhere. But, their is just no limit how dominant you could be with two dominant and grown elite BIG-MAN down on the court.

They have to start giving Favors and Enes as many positions as they are giving Hayward. And also Trey Burke could be a important piece of this Team, especially getting the Bigs and involved and creating space for Haywards spot-up shooting with good rebounding and passing ability.

Do not make the mistake and think that I hate Hayward, i really like this dude and his sunshine smiling face, but he has to realize that he is no max-player and has to accept being the 3rd option at Utahs future offense. He could be a elite spot-up shooter/catch and shoot player, but thats about it. Utah Jazz future is bright, building a competitive team around this young guys, with a TOP5 draft Pick next year could create a new force in the NBA. But, its important for Hayward to accept his role at this team.

You should take your own advice. You should post less and be less involved.

The bigs can't score quickly enough to be a low post focal point. Kanter takes damn near twice as long as Jefferson to put his moves on the basket lady. Favors has been slightly better.

I agree that Hayward needs to shoot less, but this is probably why he does shoot too much. They just aren't ready to carry the team offensively from the low post.

They are not ready to take a few shots more per game, but Hayward is ready to carry the whole team offensively, while shooting 38 % from the field ? Hayward shoould stop reading David Locke, who has a man-crush at him....

None of them are ready, but Hayward is further along in his development, and has been anointed unfairly by management and our coach. You don't know what the hell your talking about! So don't act like you know what your talking about.

Saying you're not racist doesn't make you not racist. The bolded sentence should have read, "A 6´8 guy, who is a spot-up shooter, you can find everywhere." The color of his skin has nothing to do with it.

Reasons why Gordon shoots so much.

1. He listens to Locke and thinks he's a star.
2. Listens to his agent and needs a big average for contract talks.
3. Thinks he might as well chuck it, who is he going to pass to, JLIII.
4. Thinks a big average will get him to the all-star game.
5. Really believes the press clippings from his home town newspaper.
6. Ty is telling him to shoot the ball in his brilliant time outs.
7. Instead of playing shooting guard, he is created a new position of chucking guard.
8. Next shot will be the beginning of a hot streak.
9. Thinks he's Jerry West. (That one is for Hotrod Huntley)
10. He does have Sidney Lowe as a shooting coach.

11. Because he is the best scorer on the team.

It's spelled "Hundley". :(

I'm not too concerned about the 1-17 performance...everyone has bad shooting nights, what worries me more is that many of his shots looked absolutely horrible, like Shaq shooting free throws bad, or 40 year old fat guy at a YMCA pick up game bad...He really needs to put more time into practicing his outside shot.

If they were open shots, yes.

So was there a ceremony for this anointment that I missed. Last time I checked basketball is a team sport. You sound like you don't know what you are talking about or you are just being defensive.

You know what you are talking about, we have to give Hayward MAX and also half of Favors money.
