What's new

Haywood just officially signed with the Celtics

Brad Stevens is a better offensive coach than Snyder, it's just a fact.

Snyder still has to prove he can coach a top 10 offense.

Bullocks, for a big part of the season the Jazz had a top 10 offense, now you tell me how easy is to maintain that level when you have to change the roster weekly.

He still has to prove he can have a top 10 offense for a full season. Excuses are like assholes. At the end of the day it's a results based league.

So since he has unfinished business with Stevens but not Quin does that mean the celtics are going to play in the NCAA tournament this year and try and win the championship?

I believe Utah was top 10 early last year, before Hill went out with injuries. Even without Hill, our offense last year looked worlds better than it has in previous years. I've been skeptical of Quin's offensive ability, but it seems pretty obvious now that it had more to do with lack of personnel than anything else. Utah got lots of compliments in the Clipper series from national media and NBA fans in general as to how we moved the ball, and our offense in general.

Quin's going to have a challenge this year for sure, but he's going to have the best playmaker he's had yet in Utah. Anyway, I feel like Quin answered the questions on his offensive capabilities for the most part last year.

I'm mostly curious to see how he changes our pace this year. We definitely should no longer be slowest in the league.

I wonder what Ainge's relationship with Stevens is like. I'd imagine good and he'd stick with him, but would be very interesting if he got fired over the next couple years.

I just watched the 30 for 30 about the Lakers and Celtics which was pretty solid. One thing I learned though was that Ainge was such an unlikable prick even back then.

easy to do when you play in the EAST.

Jazz would probably be in the NBA finals if they were in the east last year. **** was THAT bad.

Wait, he didn't even show up for his own introductory press conference? LMAO!!!!! Oh I sense this is going to be a complete disasterpiece for Boston. It's not going to end well. And I can't wait to watch it fall apart. Getting my popcorn ready!

His insistence that he still was undecided today is just laughable. What a self absorbed douche. I wish him all the worst with his infantile reconnection with Brad Stevens and chase for cheap hollow individual accolades.

Where does it say this? It sounds like he picked the Boston franchise over the Utah Franchise. Yes he praised his former college coach but Boston's History certainly trumps the Jazz.

I agree that his most recent comments contradict his "torn" story. However, I don't care enough to hope he sucks with Boston. What I would like is for the Celtics to face the Jazz in the Finals and the Jazz destroy them. Now that is the revenge I would like to see. I would laugh my butt off if it ever happen. I certainly will cheer against them.

1. His kid was in the ER and Boston FO screwed the pooch on it
2. He was in Boston earlier ready to go and they were not done with the paperwork. No big deal
3. Hayward talked to the Boston Media yesterday
4. He confirmed when the story supposedly leaked HE HAD NOT DECIDED.

Someone build goodwill in a city for 7 years, does everything the right way and everyone beleives an ESPN writer who says he posted the story just as he was boarding a plane to get it out there.
He had a 50/50 chance.

With friends like this fan base who needs enemies.

And you think the way Hayward is just being shredded by the Jazz is not going unnoticed.

Good luck getting another Top 20 player as a FA. Not happening.

Good luck getting a ring, not happening.

Good luck making the playoffs, 8th seed at best....

Enjoy mediocrity.....

You annahilated us bro. Sickening.

Sent from my Moto G (4) using JazzFanz mobile app

So, not a day into being a Celt and there's already miscommunication between him and the FO? Yay Haywood, superb decision!

Enjoy mediocrity.....

Says the expert.

Anyways, what are you still doing here?

We all know how this ends with Hayward eventually getting traded to the Knicks where all devalued ex-Jazz players go to finish ruining their careers.

Don't know if it's true or not, but at this point what would you expect him to say?

Agents and players follow the money in the NBA. Boston shredded Ray Allen when he left, a fact most C's fans conveniently forget, and they managed to sign Horford and now Hayward. The Jazz didn't shred GH, a few fans did. Nobody cares.

Enjoy mediocrity.....
I did enjoy the mediocrity of your post...
