Heat @ Jazz post game quotes

Do we even have a guy that could? They are either too small or too passive for that to happen...
We have some that could. But they are all too passive. That is a problem with this roster. We need that tough guy that is not a guard. Watson and Bell would try but they are too small.

Anybody else yelling at the TV begging a Jazz player to knock Lebron's punk *** to the ground? This is what I miss about the NBA of old. If he did that wagging his head and showboating in the old days he would have been floored at some point. You want to break the rythym of a guy playing like that getting into his head and knocking his *** to the floor is a good way to do it. Especially a guy like Lebron. I would never want the team to do that to Kobe or Jordan but Lebron is not Kobe or Jordan. He is just not as mentally tough as them.
Yeah, now, well, the thing about the old days: they the old days.

well i agree stern is turning the nba from a man's game to a lil girls whine fest

Man, people are ****ing stupid. Just stupid. That's all I can say. Never mind that the whole country is riding LeBron's dick, but we got people who feel like they got to do it on a Jazz board.

And you have people talking about LeBron as if he's at least as good as Jordan if not better? Really? Really people? Jordan? How old are we? Do we not remember Jordan? Do we not remember the greatest team the Jazz will ever have losing twice in the Finals to him? The man won 6 straight championships(yeah, I'm not counting 1995, because it makes no sense to count it) and slapped aside all rivals and LeBron is as good as him? LeBron? LeBron who can't beat this Jazz team is better than Jordan who beat the '97 and '98 teams?

It's unbelievable how media can skew people's perspective. We have a man who 6 times(yes, six ****ing times) put a team on his back and willed them to a championship. No excuse, no bull, just 6 championships. And LeBron is supposed to be better? Right now? Not some hypothetical future, but right now? LeBron who wilts at the slightest sign of pressure is better than the man who has to use both hands in order to show off his NBA rings?

I don't care how many Sportscentre highlights LeBron has or what his PER is. This is why you play basketball.

Riding J****n's (I can't even say his name) dick is a much bigger sin on this message board.

Anybody who is denying the fact that LeBron is playing absolutely amazing basketball is an idiot. He might not be as good as Jordan, but he definitely could be in time. Who cares if he didn't take the last shot? He made the smart basketball play, he has 17 points on 8-9 shots in the 4th quarter and was the only reason Miami was in the game. That is clutch, anybody saying otherwise doesn't know jack ****.

I ain't riding his dick, I hate his guts. I also recall that Michael Jordan made my teenage years less happy(not that it took much to make an artistic teenager like me moody and unhappy). I can't think of very many people who can say that about LeBron.

Or to put it this way. Karl Malone, John Stockton, Reggie Miller, Pat Ewing, and Charles Barkley are all ringless because of MJ. That's like the All-NBA All-Time third team, just about. Who's ringless because of LeBron?

Lebron is only 27. He still has a lot of time to win rings. Not saying he is better than Jordan, but I think everyone who declares him to be worthless (DutchJazzer) just because he hasn't won one yet is ridiculous. I think he is clearly the best all around player in the game today, and will probably go down as one of the best all around players ever.

Comparing a past player to a current player is problematic enough as it is, without going into comparing a past player to a future player.

And LeBron is in his 9th season. Jordan retired at the end of his 9th season.

What?

Most arguments in favour of LeBron is that he's still young. Which presupposes that he will win things in the future. Key word being "will" which is often in this context spelt "can" or "could" but almost inevitably means "will" in these arguments.

Basically, I'm saying that as much as I wish Jordan had died in a fiery blaze in 1988, I can man up and give him credit for 6 rings. When people talk about LeBron's future, it's basically comparing imaginary rings to Jordan's real rings.

Right now, the score is 6:0. I'm sorry, but I'd call that a lickin'.

Jordan won his first championship when he was 28. Lebron James is 27. You people need to quit being ****ing retarded and see what's happening. The Heat are on pace to win the championship this year, and I put it at 80% probability that they do. After that, all of your posts questioning him will look dumb, but imagine how dumb they'll look when he goes on to win a few more.

If Jordan had time for 6 championships after he was 28, I'm pretty sure James will have a lot of good shots at it as well.

Dwight Howard and his DPOTY trophies would like a moment with you..

Different types of defense, Lebron is the best on ball defender in the league, Dwight Howard is the best stand near the basket and disrupt any shot within 15 feet. Both are very effective, I go with Lebron still though.

Finally some logic regarding Lebron. Everyone forgets he took the worst supporting cast in the NBA to 60 + wins multiple times before he went to Miami. He is the best. Maybe not ever, but right now.

Lebron is by far the best defender in the NBA, it is not even close.

You said he is the best defender in the NBA. The name of the game is defending the hoop, which is what defense is. You said it's not even close. Dwight howard is the best at defending his hoop. Which is why year in and year out the NBA agrees with me.

Mo williams more than capable scorer and an All-star 15.8 PPG 5.3 APG

Delonte west is always coveted by contenders, plays good defense and can score off the bench 8.8 PPG 3.3 APG

Anderson Varejao Great defender and rebounder 8.6 PPG 7.6 RPG but, was only playing 28 min per game.

Shaq Hall of Famer 18.5 PPG 10.3 RPG

Antawn Jamison another good player 18.7 PPG 8.4 RPG

J.J. Hickson is a very good prospect 8.5 PPG 4.9 RPG in 20 MPG

Also crazy good shooters like Boobie .477 3P% Anthony Parker .414 3p%

And you also had energy in Jamario Moon who played pretty good defense.

And then you have Lebron James.

I dont see how this is the worst supporting cast. This is the team before Lebron left.

Shaq - could barely even walk at that point

Mo Williams -fairly functional PG, but very overrated, a chucker

J.J. Hickson - Can barely get off the bench on the kings

Boobie Gibson and Anthony Parker - Whens the last time you heard either of those names?

Antawn Jamison - Alright player before he got to Cleveland, and he was with him only a half season right?

Jamario Moon - Is he even in the NBA anymore?

The only reason you have an argument for any of these players being any good is because they played with Lebron. After he left them none of them are worth a damn. I would love to see some statistics on these guys before and after Lebron.

Also according to your logic Greg Ostertag was a better defender than Lebron James. He was much better at protecting the basket than Lebron. How do you think Dwight would do guarding Kobe? I would take Lebron guarding any of the NBA centers over Dwight guarding NBA perimeter players.

Dude are you kidding me?? were not talking about today. Were talking about at that point. How does someone average 18 and 10 unable to walk. You obviously love Lebron. So its a pointless argument. I know lebron is a perimeter defender, but you said no one is even close. Obviously that is not true.

I posted their stats from that year right next to him. You need to actually think for a moment what the WORST supporting cast means. Also what NO ONE IS EVEN CLOSE means. I'm not disagreeing with some of what your saying but, you are getting carried away.

You can talk about lebron all you want I really don't care, all i know is he is not better than MJ, and the consensus around the world would agree that MJ is the best ever. You can't assume that Lebron is going to just win NBA championships for the rest of his career and call him the best ever. He has lost twice now in the finals, and has not showed that he is a clutch player. You never know what will happen. Karl Malone, Shaq, Kobe, and Gary Payton didn't even win a championship together. So you need to stop assuming and just wait for the results.

I understand Dwight is a post defender. But, you said the BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER. So of course you can't leave out Dwight. Greg Ostertag didn't have a chance at guarding perimeter players, how dare you compare Dwight Howards versatility and athleticism to Greg Ostertag. That is sad. On the perimeter, im pretty sure there is a guy named Kobe Bryant. Ya he is older and has slown down a little bit but he tied for Most 1st team All Defense selection.

But, your right Lebron is the best ever he can ****ing cure cancer.
