Your list is automatically disqualified as a result of not mentioning Rakim. Not only is that a blasphemous act but shows your lack of integrity.

Most overrated: Tupac Shakur
 
Rakim was before my time, and its coincidence i was introduced to KRS... That's why it's called a personal top 5. I will be sure to give Rakim a whirl soon though.
 
I don't listen to much rap, but I do love me some 2pac. 'Hit 'Em Up' could be one of the greatest angry songs of all time.

You did qualify "of all time" so, not sure what you were thinking...maybe shortening the period, to MC of the 90's? Just a suggestion.

1. Rakim, strictly for the influence he had on the generations after him, plus Paid in Full is probably one of if not the best hip dop album ever)
2. Tupac, again the influence he had, the messages he delivered, makes him one of the best emcees imo
3. Redman Seriously guys?? no mention of Redman?? easily top 5 all time

most slept on: Outkast. You guys need to listen to their first 4 albums; all hiphop staples. If you like mroe gangsta-rap, then southerplayalisticadillacmuzik is recommended, but their following three are better IMO
most overhyped: Jay Z

Wow I can't believe how many people insist there is a difference between rap and hip hop in order to legitimize their "music" of choice. I don't worry about the label, I just listen.
