Long, long time reader of the forum. Extremely rare poster.

It's an exceptional forum, but one thing has always thrown me off - Why is this guy still on here? He's about as funny as a mediocre episode of "Big Bang Theory", and his schtick quite literally belongs in another decade. I understand certain trolls get almost grandfathered in to certain forums due to their consistency and quality, but this guy just isn't it. He's not... good. He's like the Olive Garden of trolling. I wouldn't care but it seems like every time I log in 3 of the top 10 posts are his, with a couple people giving him a back pat for being "good for a laugh".

Is it his family friendly/safe humor/ABC Wednesday Evening Comedy Lineup style of humor that keeps him around? Because the dude's lame.

Forgive me, I've just come off a back-to-back on this forum and today was supposed to be my load management day.
I'll be better tomorrow.

(And, Scaramanga, if you have watched BIG BANG THEORY, then your thoughts on comedy are completely irrelevant. It's like a Utah Jazz fan talking basketball.)

You have the congenial troll part down, I will absolutely give you that. But it's just not that funny. I don't know how else to say it. It's as if you might have decent content, then it's run through a committee to ensure it's appropriate for sheltered 9 year olds, then we get whatever generic bullsh*t you say. I just feel like a forum of this caliber that discusses a team of this level deserves more quality trolling. I'll let it go now, because whatever. But for now you're way too mediocre to take up this much space. As somebody who lives out of the country, I want to hear more about the Jared Butler kid and less of you. Sorry?

I don't think you are reading that right. I do believe your chart means that the Knicks will win The Finals in 6 games. (According to that chart, Pacers would need 7, Knicks will do it it in only 6).

Hey let's make it interesting. I'll bet you $1000 that the Knick's won't make the finals at all. Someone here can hold the money. Seems like a fun idea, right? I mean I'm basically just handing you $1000 right? The winner will be determined as soon as the Knick's either win the championship in 2022 (then you win), or they get knocked out of the playoffs (then I win). Deal?

Make sure to add a provision that they won't even make the playoffs. Or the play-in games. Cover all your bases.

Uhh, don't you realize I am a street-smart guy from New York, not some rube from some jerkwater Utah town that has cow paths not streets?

You want to bet a grand the Knicks don't make it to the Finals? Uhh, Vegas has the Knicks laying 8,000 dollars to get The Finals. So here's the real deal: I lay 1 buck and you put up 8,000. Let's see if you do that.

Ok. You bet 1000 and I'll cover it with 8,000,000 that the Knicks don't make the finals. Gotta make it interesting. And I'm giving you even better odds because the bet isn't to win the finals, but that the Knicks don't even appear in the finals.

So here's another one so you can save face. I will bet you $500 straight up that the jazz go deeper in the playoffs than the Knicks do. If they both get knocked out in the same round then whichever team put up more of a fight wins. So if they lose in the 2nd round and the Knicks lose in 5 and the jazz lose in 6, I win. A perfect tie will be broken by most points scored over the course of the entire playoffs.

Clearly no one at The Onion follows the NBA.

Ho hum, another game, another win.

We truly are on the way to an undefeated season. We have now won 6.1% of the 82 games the NBA orders us to play. By April 20th it will be 100%.
Last night in double OT we beat the Celtics -- a team with 17 Championships. SEVENTEEN Championships! And we humiliated them.

Fun game to watch and I have to admit, the Knicks are for real!!! Bringing Thibodeau in was a stroke of genius for that team. Way back in 2014 when we drafted Exum, I said we should have taken Randle. He's got extraordinary quickness for a forward, is a lefty and now he's found his long game as well. It took him a minute to really catch his stride but he's one of the best at his position now. Also, kudos to you for picking up Fornier. As a former New Yorker and New Jerseyite, the Knicks are more fun to root for than the Nets - just ask the celebrities at the game last night!
