Nothing will ever top the Segway company owner driving a Segway off a cliff to me. Partly because my own experiences on Segways have always ended in lesser degrees of similar calamities:

The body of the businessman, a former miner who was estimated to be worth £166million, was found in the River Wharfe at 11.40am on Sunday by a passer-by.

Police are investigating, but it is believed he lost control of the machine as he travelled along a bridleway close to his estate near Boston Spa, West Yorkshire.

The narrow pathway used by walkers is littered with tree roots and is rutted and uneven for most of its length.

The Segway was found in the river near his body, indicating that he was still riding the scooter when he drove over the cliff.

Segways are banned on British roads for safety reasons, but are legal on private land. Mr Heselden had bought the Segway company in a deal last December and planned to further develop the machine.

I'm not sure how they died, so perhaps this doesn't qualify for your thread Core4, but one of my favorites is the California cultists who died in expectation that the Hale-Bopp comet would come to pick them up.
 
To me, this has SyFy movie written all over it. If they can produce "Sharknado" why not "Bovine Rain" or something like that?

Man if I had a nickel for every time I have heard that.
 
2012: Uroko Onoja, a Nigerian polygamist businessman, died after being forced by five of his six wives to have sex with each of them. Onoja was caught having sex with his youngest wife by the remaining five, who were jealous of him paying her more attention. The remaining wives demanded that he also have sex with each of them, threatening him with knives and sticks. He had intercourse with four of them in succession, but stopped breathing before having sex with the fifth.



Sometimes it really bugs me when I read, "well at least _________ died doing something he/she enjoyed." In this case, that's true.
