Hood is more important than you think

Hood+Hayward is the truth. Book it.

People keep saying trade Hayward for assets. Or Hood is better. To those individuals I say "What the hell is wrong with you?"

1-Hayward is better than Hood right now. Hayward is damn good. He was a top 30 player in the NBA last year. To those that say Hood is better now, you are a bunch of Morons.

2-Trade Hayward for assets? What the hell is wrong with you guys? The cap is about to sky rocket so his salary is a non issue. And why would you trade a sure thing-- a top 30 player in the NBA-- for an asset that could turn into freakin Anthony Bennett or Derrick Williams.

Please, to those of you that are morons. Please stop the moronic behavior. Please make it stop. Exercise common sense. Make the world a better place. Make it moron free. Make it Zion.

Hood just finished his rookie year he had an injury that didn't allow him to have as many games as Gordon but here is a comparison. Hood looks to be on par with Gordon. I feel not seeing that is your Hayward bias blinding you. https://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=0&y1=2011&p1=haywago01&y2=2015&p2=hoodro01&p3=&p4=&p5=&p6=

Hood was a year older than Hayward when he came into the NBA.

Hood had Snyder as a HC. Hayward has Sloan (not the most rookie friendly) then switched mid-season to Corbin.

I don't think very many people are saying trade Hayward for assets except KOCbeGOD, though perhaps I am missing some. We don't need assets -- we need pieces to compete. Hayward is a piece to compete. Hayward and Hood bring different things to the table and the things they duplicate are things that are synergistically helpful rather than redundant (i.e. shooting or scoring on our presently offensively depleted team). It's like arguing burger vs. fries when what you need to be asking is what you're going to drink.

Exactly! What we need to have are THREE good players for the wing rotation and the same for the 4/5. Why argue about Hood/Hayward/Burks when we have all three. Sit back and enjoy watching each get 30 mins/per.

I'm not talking about Burks. I'm talking about Hayward and Hood (and the false mutual exclusivity).

I love when he drives hard to the hoop, stops on a dime (he is as good a stopping after full sprint as about anyone), and shoots the 10 foot J.

That's his go to move imo and it's nearly unstoppable

This post gave me the chills. Thank you.

I've seen like one guy say that. And he's an admitted Hayward hater.
