What's new

Hood went from number 1 option...

All of this is true... And now he will get a ring. Smmfgdh

I still think someone gives him a good enough multiyear deal that he doesn’t have to sign a makegood deal. Someone will give him close to MLE money. Orlando, Indiana, Brooklyn, maybe Dallas.

I think Cleveland unofficially cut him after he refused to come into the game.

However, I can see a stupid franchise like New York one Brooklyn signing him. I think he’ll sign a short modest deal in the hopes of boosting his stock and signing a longer and larger deal later.

NBA is rigged.

Lebron in 5 against Houston.
Lebron in 7 against GS.

The NBA isn't rigged. There are many things you can question about the league (officiating especially), but it's not rigged. At least not now because it would be harder to rig it now than ever before.

As for your predictions, I do feel that Cleveland matches up pretty well with Houston especially if Paul is limited. However, the Warriors should destroy Cleveland.

It’s not rigged today. Too hard to rig today with all the social media and cameras everywhere and stuff.

It was probably rigged back in Jordan’s era though

Lebron should fake an injury and not waste his time. If Cleveland wins one game against GS it will be a huge moral victory.
GS isn't in the Finals yet. Rockets at home will be tough, even without CP3. GS just needs to move the ball. If Durant plays keep away from his teammates, the game could be close.

Harder than ever before is still relatively easy to do. One example of this is the BS foul calls to keep games close and thus increase viewership. You'll even hear the announcers say that shouldn't have been a foul after a slow motion replay, but then they just carry on.

Now if you mean rigged as in both teams and the refs cooperate with each other to determine a final outcome, then yeah that would be much harder to do today.

I don't think results are predetermined. But yes, I know that refs give calls at certain moments. Any logical person can predict it's going to happen when it's about to happen. Like last night with LeBron - Smart and Tatum kept reaching. LeBron complained a couple times and then they made the call when it was pretty weak when it should have been made prior. Were there fouls? Definitely. Was there a foul when it was called? meh... Was it called because the star beckoned? Absolutely. That relationship with the ref doesn't occur in any other major sport.

So yes, it's rigged in that sense. I think the refs are extremely sensitive to the stars. Even though they know the tricks, they still give the calls to the stars. The Harden flop, the Durant throwing his arms into the defender, the LeBron stagger like he got hit, etc. The game is rigged for the stars, but the results are real.
