HoopsHype writer: "In today's NBA Stockton 6th Man At Best"

This has to be one of the worst list articles I have ever read.

Juwan Howard at 6'9 is too small PF? LMAO. It's not elite size, but there are plenty of good PF's who are 6'9 or smaller, like Paul Millsap.

Great article. It was good to learn that Mutombo couldn't possibly deal with Deandre Jordan's elite post play.

I rolled on the floor laughing on that one.

Actually, I rolled on the floor laughing for everyone.

This dude can't even be consistent for his criteria on what makes a good NBA player.

Mutumbo sucks cuz he cna't shoot. You have to be able to shoot.

Mark Price isnt athletic enough so he would suck.

Larry Nance is athletic but he isn't as athletic as Aaron Gordon, so he sucks.

Just like, wtf. Does this guy get paid to write this?

This makes me laugh. Seriously the ******* in today's game? Oh I stubbed my toe out 3 weeks. I can't stand the prima Donna **** that comes from sports reporters these days. He doesn't know anything about players from then. Nash was an NBA all star. And his best years doesn't compare to Stocks. What a dip ****.

BArkley is 6'6"

The Round Mound would tear it up in todays small ball NBA

Wrong. He didn't have the elite athleticism to stay in front of today's guards. 6th man AT BEST.

....first of all, NOBODY and I mean NOBODY can stay in front of quick guards in today's NBA, no matter how much room they give them! Why? Because today's NBA players are allowed to PICK UP THERE DRIBBLE and then continue on to the basket! Years ago, they called that "palming" or carrying the basketball! Today, it's call "elite athleticism"! Stockton couldn't stay in front of Iverson, either! But the Jazz would beat his team like a drum with brains and execution! Now, let me read this clowns article before making more accurate observations on the state of today's NBA!

"The only thing that would keep him relevant in today’s game would be his ability to steal the ball and his shooting ability. But players are so much more athletic today than they were in the ’90s."

...so the only "thing" that keeps Curry relevant in today's game is "his shooting ability?" And then his comment that today's defenses would curtail the "Stockton to Malone" pick and roll...had me "rolling" on the floor laughing! Like Van Excel once said: "Yeah, you can stop that pick in roll...by bringing a baseball bat to the game and kill one of them!" I don't buy for one minute that today's NBA players are more "athletic" than players in the past! You had a number of VERY athletic players with "elite athleticism" in the 70's, 80's and 90's! Dr. J, David Thompson, Ricky Green, Wilt Chamberlain, and the list could go on and on and on! Ricky Green was "faster" than the ball! Wilt would have destroyed these clowns back in his prime! What the players of past decades did have that today's knuckleheads don't have is a basketball IQ way up in the 100's! What they DIDN'T have were bodies loaded with "jailhouse tats" and multiple illegitimate babies with child support payments through the roof!
