What's new

Hornet fans aint fallin for Christina's excuses, eh?

God, Im glad you are back Aint. If only to see the little ***** who whine about you and dont like you. Yes, they obviously didnt get the point and try to post 'clever' responses that have nothing at all to do with what you were saying.

"Jonathan Givony: What about Deron Williams? You ever gone up against him?

Chris Paul: We were at the Nike camp together..."

This was right before the 2005 draft. Course, Chrissy-girl wouldn't mention the time, earlier that year, when she brought her #1 ranked team into Deron's "House of Paign," eh? She had da national media sniffin her panties even way back then. Jay Bilas said Deron wasn't even good enough to be a top 5 guard in the ACC, or sumthin like that.

Her team was down by 30+ points in the blink of an eye and it sho didn't takes long for Chissy to fold like a cheap tent and go down like a crack ho. She gots outplayed, not only by Deron, but by 3 other guards on Deron's team, too, even one's comin off the bench. Seen Deron at the Nike camp, eh? Heh.

How appropriate. There is no pass or fail with the Rorschach test.

Yes, that is why I added the extra clause at the end. If you could pass or fail a standard Rorschach test, i would not have needed that clause.

Perhaps, just for your sake, I should spell out things like that in the future?

Try to understand my response. If you can't, just feel it.

Now the Nawlins press is jumpin on the "dump Chrissy" bandwagon, eh?

TRADE HIM: An argument for shipping off the Hornets' Chris Paul

"Trading Chris Paul is a better idea than most Hornets fans are willing to admit. Don't get me wrong. I like Paul....But the Hornets brass should probably send him packing...don't think shipping Paul and Okafor somewhere, as proposed in the Paul to Orlando deal, isn't a better basketball move long-term than keeping him...Collison proved himself as a quality starting point guard last season in Paul's absence.

For instance, the deal the Hornets had rumored with the Nets on draft night would have netted New Orleans the No. 3 pick, former All-Star point guard Devin Harris and a bunch of cap space. Not too shabby....Paul's stock right now is still extremely high despite missing half of last season with an injury. Why risk it dropping when you can trade him now for both quality and cap space?

Paul has already said he's open to a new team...and that's just what he said when he's still under contract. Hornets and Hornets fans, setting the sentimentality aside, are you confident enough that Paul will both stay healthy and re-sign in two years that you're willing to throw away an opportunity to build for the future without hitting bottom first? I'm not."

Kinda makes ya think of Boozer in Miami (and Chicago) last year, don't it:

"The fact that Chris Paul on Friday essentially repeated the same things he said nine days earlier — that he’s open to being traded if the New Orleans Hornets aren’t moving to challenge the NBA elite today — only can mean one thing: New Orleans and its star point guard still aren’t in harmony."

"In the midst of the 6-team courtship for his services, LeBron spent the day at the Nike Skills camp. He was joined by Chris Paul."
