lot of things. But I'm trying to be good, so I will just say Mark Jackson is a man I would not care to share a cab with.

Marcus Thompson @gswscribe 05 Feb
MJax: "I'm an old school bball player and an old school coach. If you can't appreciate that, that's on you. We're not going to lay down ..."

except you did lay down for 1/3 of the season last year.

Other than the last couple of games of the season when he glued Thompson to the bench in the 4th quarter, any tanking was on management imo.

Rockets equaled the Magic record to make 23 three pointers in one game that night when the clock was showing 3 minutes to go, then the Warriors started making tactical fouls to avoid more threes. That was extraordinarily weak. Rockets finished with 23, being unable to break it.

The quote from Jackson is a bit pathetic given what happened last year, but I like what he did. I only wish our coach was man enough to do the same when Houston was jacking up 3's late in our game.

My thoughts exactly but with more of an emphasis on Jackson being a bitch for tanking last year then claiming to be old school.

But yeah, I like the mindset of not just letting people embarrass you.

Jackson was so unbelievably loser that night, even the players looked bummed when fouling the Rockets players. No professional coach would let his players lose their respect for him that badly. Was the consequence better? Now everyone remembers him not only one of the worst perimeter defense game team's coach, but also such an *** hole who could dare to do such a weak thing.

Bill Worrell was right. Even in Bay Area, they would boo this ****in' charade.

Mark Jackson may think he's old school, but he's just a punk! He never did like Stockton and virtually has nothing good to say about him.

I remember not liking Mark Jackson when I was younger because of the way he dissed Stockton. But I started liking him when he was calling games with JVG. I don't hate Mark even though GS tanked. That could have come directly from management. Which it probably did. And I don't have anything against tanking. I think it is smart when done at the right time.
