So what is Fes waiting for? No one, apparently, has made him a better offer. I haven't read any rumors that other teams are interested in him, and now he's in StL, so why isn't he signing?
On a Saturday morning, what is holding him up (from signing) is a hangover from Club Naked (or the Russian equivalent) ...So what is Fes waiting for? No one, apparently, has made him a better offer. I suspect his leg bones and backbone are holding him up.

If the Jazz were smart they'd up their offer to lock him in for 2-3 years rather than face the prospect of unrestricted free agency next season.
I'm sure he'll sign before the QO expires. He has no reason to prematurely foreclose his options before then.

Eh, I see Elson outplaying Fes and taking most of his minutes this season. He'll be just as unwanted and worthless as an UFA next year as he is this year.
Agreed, but by that virtue it's difficult to find players with his physical tools in the NBA, let alone the D-League or the draft having no picks next year or likely any high picks anytime soon (Cole Aldrich would've been nice). Giving him a $2 million per year deal for two to three years is reasonable, and it's likely they can lock him up for even less at this stage.True, but what's the difference between playing Fes and taking a flier on a DL scrub? From what we've seen, even this summer, not much.
I'm sick and tired of watching someone blessed with his physical attributes piss it all away. It's disgusting and pathetic.
