The biggest mistake of the tank was signing Garrett.

Other than that, not much we can do at this point.

We're being 'catapulted' no where. Without the tank we're continuing with right where we've been. A program steeped in a history of mediocrity. The Jazz got in the tank, drove it a while, then pulled out a grenade and pulled the pin while locked inside.

Boom!

Back to reality.

What happened to this forum being unreadable because nobody was willing to let the cards play out?

Welcome to winner's circle

On the other hand, what are the jazz supossed to do? Bench trey and favors for the rest of the year?

Lindsey tried his best to create a team that could tank but the fact is that we might just be too good TO DO A PROPER TANK JOB.

I want a top three pick but I'm not really sure how the jazz can achieve that other than some injuries or just straight up benching The Core. ( if that happened, they would probably not be ok with that since everyone but favors are on rookie deals and want to earn more soon)

We have Corbin. Just sign a couple of run-down guys who "have experience" and let Corbin do what Corbin does. What's Troy Murphy up to? When can we resurrect Andris?

Corbin and Lucas driving our tank to perfection!

They're supposed to make a trade, if we rack up more wins than we're supposed to. I don't even care if we have to sell low, just ****ing keep this tank going, Lindsey.

I remember that.

Lets take a moment to cry together.

The other mistake was letting Burke come back earlier than anticipated. I'm dead serious when I say Burke wouldn't have come back till Christmas, if I was the GM.

Luckily the Jazz are in the West, so they still have a chance to tank. As long as they don't win all their road games against the bad teams in the East, they will be fine. There might be 2-3 teams in the East with worse records, but the Jazz have a lot of games left against good teams in the West that they will lose while the East teams will end up beating each other enough that a few of them will win more than the Jazz.

Just to be clear, in my heart of hearts, I want us to be really bad. Best case scenerio is for the young guys to be competitive, but still lose 8-9 out of every 10 games. I am excited about Burke because he is better than i thought he'd be and he has something to him, but I know we need a superstar to be legit. Hope we lose every game from here on out competitively with the young guys doing nearly all the damage (playing well).

Reports of the demise of the tank are premature.
