How do you show your fanhood?

Jody Genessy: Twenty-five high school kids are going to show their diehard support for the Utah Jazz by walking 9 miles to get to Friday's home-opener.

Jody Genessy: The Jazz fan group will leave Olympus High at 1:30 p.m. in order to get to the arena by 5:30 for autographs, according to a press release.

Jody Genessy: No word on whether the walking Jazz fans will split up and scour the Salt Lake City streets to search for Utah's missing defense.

So these kids care, do you? How do jazzfanz show their fanhood for the home opener?

I go on JazzFanz and rant for 8 hours a day about how we need to trade these vets for draft picks. It's hard work. It isn't easy convincing people Al Jefferson sucks. But I do it anyways because I love my Jazz!

Well now I plan on meeting them somewhere along their route and grabbing one of them by the collar and shaking them while screaming "YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME?!?!?!" So mark me down for that one.

After which I'm assuming they'll stab themselves in the eyes on their way to the slaughterhouse to show their diehard support for food. Just for fun.

I watch commercials that generate revenue that pays the salaries of our players.

How are those kids walking 9 miles to a Jazz game in better support than me sitting at home watching the game yelling at my tv and yelling and cussing, with my wife telling me to relax it's just a game.

I correct spelling and grammar on fan sites.
I also chew out the players when they miss a defensive assignment.
It's been tough because while I am laying in to one of them, I have to stop and start ripping into someone else.
It is a tireless job, but somebody's got to do it.

I showed my fanhood to one of my lady friends and now the police require me to register with them. I'm also one of the first to be questioned whenever something happens in the neighborhood. On a positive note, it's nice to be the center of attention.
