It might be nice to have that for inserting image IMG tags also, for adding images without needing to upload them.

The real site is definitely better by hundreds of miles. But it is harder to navigate in mobile devices obviously. The app is pretty minimalist compared to the original Tapatalk. You don't see the threads you've already commented on. Just the unread ones. That is one down thing for me. But especially the notifications coming from the app is definitely a useful thing compared to the original site.
You can also receive notifications from the site but they are limited to the inbox limit most of time so it sucks when you have to delete or when someone tries to reply you with quoting but cannot because your box is full.
There are a lot of times that I drift between the app, Tapatalk and the original site. This usually ended with me deleting everything in my phone and keeping on with using the desktop site. Especially back when chatbox was on. It was an easy choice when we had chatbox. Also the rep system helped to keep going desktop.
Nowadays you don't have anywhere to go in terms of RAP and it's a bit more meaningless to rep someone. It just happens when you need to express major pleasance. I still try to keep it alive. But I admit that I've gotten lazy on it. Like system kinda killed the rep system. I bet many prefer it. But also RAP killed the rep system. I just don't understand when there is room to have fun with a certain aspect of your social community, why do you decide to shut it down? Is it so important to deflect all the exploitations of your rep system? Is it worth taking all the fun away?
I wish Jason and colton, you guys could reconsider the RAP cap and setting it back to infinity, setting back on the Chat Box, removing the like system or adding a dislike system to it and make them matter by statistically ranking people of them so it would be more fun to track the number of likes and certain votes posters receive for their effort.

We've had a lot less pain with the rep system since the RAP cap was enacted, my vote is definitely to leave it as is.
I'm in favor of that but it's Jason's call.
I think that could be good, but don't know how hard it would be for Jason.
My vote is to raise / refactor it to allow more movement since many are at the cap now but it's Colton's call
I'll look into something for the new season. As mentioned though, we don't control the app so the experience differs. PLUS people didn't use the chatbox as it was implemented prior, granted people had suggestions to help that.
I like it. I think I can add dislike to it and maybe tie into rep... hmm. Or create a TOP 10 list or something. Thanks.
