It seems to me the Jazz need to add a couple of pieces, perhaps one through the draft, Exum and Burks coming back and perhaps a piece in free agency or a trade of Trey. How do people feel about Quinn Cook, ex Duke player and DLeague rookie of the year. Lebron James likes him as he was in the Cavs camp last fall. Also a sympton of the team not being there is Ingles getting rotation minutes. I know the guy is a glue buy but he should be 11 or 12th guy at best.

Adding a 12th man doesn't make this squad better.
 
The Jazz need a healthy Exum, a starting wing player, and to upgrade Booker (and, no, Lyles isn't what I mean).

Exum/Mack/Neto
Starting FA Wing/Burks
Hayward/Hood/Ingles
Favors/Lyles
Gobert/Upgraded Booker

That team wins 45-55 games depending on Exum. That team is going places.

The cake is baked. Let's add some toppings and see how this thing tastes.

That leaves us five roster spots to fill. We have four picks in this draft, but it's likely we'd take an international or package a couple to move up.

How long are we going to be saying this before it happens?

Jazz have committed salary to everyone except Booker and Johnson.

Team option for Mack at 2.4 million seems like a no-brainer.

That is 13 of the 15 roster spots, so Lindsey has some work to do.
 
I think this Jazz team is full of cowards. Coward is pretty strong, but this year has been really frustrating to say the least. They shrivel in tough games all year. At times almost any player on the team can be a beast. I've seen it with Favs, Gobert, Hood, Hayward, and even Burks, but when they get punched in the mouth there is no one to go to. It sucks.

I disagree with this. There were several close games where we overcame a lot and showed a lot of fight.
 
I don't think there should be any mistaking it: we lost this many games because of the cakk

Injury excuse doesn't resonate with me.

We had an opportunity to make the playoffs. We screwed the pooch. Sure we might have done better with everybody there, but we still could have made the playoffs with the injuries. We still should have. We need more.
