It's just hard to see Quin making Mitchell a starter so early (given complete health on team). If you move Hood to SF then he will probably struggle defensively against the West's heavily stacked SF position. Ingles is much better suited to deal with those players in a 28/20 minutes split with Sefolosha.

Also seems like a terrible decision to bench Hood to the 6th man role for a rookie in a year where you have to see what Hood can do as the starting 1st option. Even if Hood completely bombs it I dont think you should take him out of the starting lineup.

The west's stacked SF position? We have Leonard, Durrant, George, and Maybe MAYBE Wiggins in Minnesota,... Who else??? Who else?? Not stacked at all

unless we count this Clippers player
Not stacked at all

Are we really afraid of 3-4 teams SF where we cant slide hood to the SF and Mitchell to the SG, heck no. I guess JFC thinks the sky is falling if there are 4 (5 if you count klay thompson i guess) big bad small forwards in the west we have to be scared of.

give me a break bro, do some research before you speak

1st off ,its hard to see Mitchell being a stud at 2 guard being very short for the position.SL stardom doesn't mean he will do the same in the NBA ,Trey Lyles avg near 30 points in SL and he's gone. His best chance at being good will need if he becomes a PG but both Rubio and Exum are better PG's than Mitchell is.I think he will have to beat out a healthy Burks or Exum for playing time.
I think by next off season though a decision will have to made about Burks even if he does make a dramatic comeback. If all is good finally with the Jazz injured I'd like to see Rubio,Exum ,Burks,Mitchell be the guard crew with Hood moving over to SF.That's 5 good perimeter players.

Yeah, just Jimmy Butler, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant, Paul George, and Gallinari. A bunch of nobodies.

There's a reason that Favs, Gobert, Burks, Ingles & Rubio played into the 4th of a blowout and Mitchell didn't sniff the court...

When is the last time a Rookie put up more points than their previous year in college for a winning team and/or playoff team?

There is also a decent chance Mitchell is our leading scorer. When is the last time a rookie led a playoff team in scoring for the season? What if we get to a 4th seed?

Ya, DM already had 25 minutes and Quin wanted to rest him for tomorrow.

Love these bumps when I look like an idiot. But seriously, most of us underestimated the kid.
Neto and Favs back tonight, but Rodney still out with a bruised ego.
