I know the bench is weak, and the starters are un-proven. but i still havent drank the tank kool aid... I am still voting for a .500 season.

Too early to tell - I'd like to see a few preseason games first.

But for now my guess is around 35-40 wins. Jazz start out awful the first month and then play slightly over .500 ball the rest of the season. There is a small part of me that thinks this team can gel defensively as a unit and get to 40+ wins - but that's probably my heart more than my head.

well, due to young core 's potential and energy we can win some surprising games against good teams and lose some bad games in 4th quarter against bad teams either. For me, this year is having experience, providing durability and understanding the feeling for the youngsters to become starters and perform steadily so 35 wins is ok for me.

Agree. We will struggle out of the gate, and as Burke improves and learns how to plAy in the nba.

We could be pretty decent by seasons end.

Right around 30 wins. I have a hard time seeing them win more than around 8-10 road games. I think the road record will be brutal. Plus I only see them winning a little over half their home games. I think coming up with 20 losses at home is fairly reasonable.

I am excited about the starters, but they will have some off nights, back to backs, catch another team that's hot etc. - not to mention a weak bench that will likely get outplayed most nights. I think that makes it hard to win 40+.

But a part of me is a giant homer and can envision the core 4 + Burke, etc. blowing up and getting a couple of nice winning streaks together. Then playing tough at home and making a playoff push. So who knows.

My brain says 30-52, but my heart says 42-40.

I voted on the high side 44+.....because the NBA is full of knot-heads.....and even with Corbin coaching, we have the AA (athletic ability) and brains to stumble into 30 wins!

It is true that our bench sucks big time but we have very talented players in our starting five and they complement each other very well. Starting five of Burke-Burks-Hayward-Kanter-Favors doesn't have any glaring weaknesses. Experience will be a big problem but we will pick up more wins in the latter half of the league. I say 34.

I actually don't think we will be that much worse on the road than we were last year.

Al Jefferson was really awful on the road compared to home games. Everyone else on our roster was fairly even across road/home games. That will probably change, but Jefferson really settled for jumpers during road games.

that does not matter.
its not liek we will play the spurs 21 times
the heat 11 times.
okc 21 times.

Yeah, but when you look at the schedule you can see rough points. You can see how many back-to-backs you have, who you have them against, etc. The schedule does matter.

And there are teams you play 3 times in the West instead of 4 times.
