Someone on the coaching staff needs to tell Favors to face up as soon as he gets the ball in the post and either make a move quick or swing the ball to the weak side. When he does that he seems to convert at a lot higher rate and get fouled at an extremely high rate. When he posts up he looks like a complete mess. I don't have any numbers to back this up...just going off the eye test.
He's just not strong enough to push his way to the rim. Face ups, quick moves, and baseline faders will work better.
One of Kanter's turnovers against Charlotte was classic Al: Enes tried to back down his defender, held the ball too long and turned right into a double team. I actually laughed when that happened.
He is Al slow at times, but in his defense, he resets a lot, passes to the open guy on the arc way more than Al, and can actually draw a foul in the double team. He's so damn strong that he just bulls his way through it where Al would prefer dancing around it.
