I'm down with Brown for 3 or less. I'd still take Brewer for the same money or a little more. The Jazz might need to get creative to really find the best 4th guy, but Brew or Brown would be fine with me.

Probably not but if the Bulls and Jazz are the ones in the running. Jazz have a better shot. Bulls let him go already and he would have more playing time with the Jazz.
Bulls have Korver, and maybe Redick now.

Already signed Redick to an offer sheet so Redick is what they wanted first obviously. I could still see them signing Brewer even after getting Redick. They need a defensive 2. Redick could play back up PG also.

wow the bulls are gonna be awefully good next year. i would still get brown over brewer tho just because brown can shoot and also because he is better man to man defender than brewer. i remember this whole board bitching about how brewer gets burned by the opposing 2s and now half of them say they would rather have brewer than brown i mean WTF?!

Anyone who would rather have Brewer is Moron. Brewer and Brown have very similar wing spans. I actually think Brown is longer (If his wingspan is really 7 foot). Brown is more athletic and has a better shot and will probably come cheaper. Makes no sense to get Brewer.

His lateral quickness needs a little bit of help. The guy who helped Brewer and Korver and Millsap could help him there and make him an even better defender. And Horny could work with him on his shot.

its perfect situation for him and for us. he has the wingspan to be an elite defender plus he can really provide us whole lot of what we're missing. if we can have him, this upcoming season will be fun to watch with him dunkin on gasol and odom

Just found out Dee Brown and Shannon Brown were Teammates in high school. Same school. Deron is probably friends with Shannon maybe..... lol
