I am hoping the Jazz lose to GS on Friday. So, I visited the GS forum on RealGM and left the following post. I was wondering how you Jazz experts would modify my post to make it more complete/accurate.
"So, big game coming up, Jazz and Warriors. Jazz need to lose to keep their pick and Warriors need to win to give the Jazz their pick.
So, I thought I'd help you folks out.
How to beat the Jazz
---------------------------------
On offense if you have a quick PG you can set a back pick for him and he'll have a clear path to the basket as long as it's Jefferson back defending the rim. Jefferson never leaves his feet on help defense. So, just free your PG then attack the rim.
Also, Jazz double ANYONE in the post. We're not that good at rotating so by all means throw the ball into the post then back out and around the horn to the open 3pt shooter. You'll get good looks from 3 all night and if you can make open 3s you should easily get over 100pts.
On defense all you have to do is zone up the Jazz. We can't make 3s very well. Even open 3s. And even if we can, we just flatly refuse to shoot enough of them to make a difference. It's like a mental block. Zone us up and play the passing lanes, you'll come up with a ton of steals as the Jazz try to force the ball into the heart of the defense resulting in lots of fast break layups on the other side.
Lastly, Give CJ Miles lots of room. He can only make a shot when his brain is turned off and that only happens when he's on the dribble. Turn him into a set shooter and he's neutralized.
Best of luck Friday!"
