Howard Interested in GSW?

Howard would be delighted to get a contract from any NBA team. I don't see how this is news worthy, or how Howard thinks he is going to choose one of many suitors.

If there was actually news about the Jazz I would agree with you but to say the pickings are slim is an under statement.

I've found the draft trade rumors to be interesting. The Ariza + #10 thing is good enough to have spilled into this non-conversation, for instance.

Edit: Sorry if this comes off as abrasive. It's just that Howard got out-played by our DLer. I hope he does go to GS. That's 6-7 shot attempts that Curry/Thompson won't get.

Oh not at all, post here more. Just the trade stuff is just our guys spinning their wheels on what they would like to see based of another teams willingness to deal. Who knows if the Jazz are involved at all though.

Via Hoopshype: "Free-agent swingman Josh Howard has shown interest in playing for the Warriors, according to team sources. The 6-foot-7, 210 -pound 32-year-old and Warriors scouting director Larry Riley were together in Dallas (2003-06). San Francisco Chronicle"

Takes?

Good news for the Jazz...

And they are a disgraceful franchise with zero respect for the game who deserves the ****ty teams they have nearly EVERY season.

Look, if you want to sit on your high horse and pretend that the Jazz are more nobel because they would never do anything like protect their future assets, go right ahead. You're flat-out wrong, but ignorance is bliss. I'm not here to sugarcoat things for the candyasses who can't handle the truth, and the truth is, EVERY single team in this league has done things like sit players at the end of a season that they weren't in the running for the playoffs, in order to improve their draft chances. That's why there were several posters on this board who predicted at the first of the season pretty much exactly the way things ended up playing out. If it makes you feel better to cry about, then go ahead, but what they did is not out of the ordinary in the NBA. Sorry if you can't deal with it.
If you like their losing model, go root for them.

Nah, I'll stick around and root for the Jazz. We have to keep a few intelligent fans around to keep people like you from spewing your misinformation and making us all look stupid.
I've seen the empty seats in their arena, they could use the fans.

Yeah, actually, they have consistently been right around 10th best in the league for attendance for the last several years. Also, I'm sure you probably think it's really neato for a team to have their FO make decisions centered around selling tickets. Personally, I think it would be pretty sweet to have ownership that was willing to take a loss at the ticket counter for a season or two, because they were dedicated to making a run at a championship. GS has new ownership that has been in place for less than two years, so for the people who are bitter about them not giving up their pick, and keep making comments about how their FO has been terrible for years, it should be interesting to see how things turn out for them over the next few years.

Also, just to be clear, I am just as pissed about losing the GS pick as pretty much everyone else.

However, it seems to me that 90% of Jazz fans are blaming the scorpion for being a scorpion, when you should be blaming the frog.

But how is Corbin going to bring back Howard to start in the playoffs after sitting for 2 months if he is on another team? We need that "playoff experience".
