Hello,
I'm probably going to get criticized for this perspective but, I have never thought about it this way before and it has completely changed my outlook on life. Many of you may feel exactly the same way, or may prefer that, but all I wanted to say is exactly this. Thanks again guys, and hopefully we can keep discussing it.

Didn't you see them? They're in the OP. He got them from richarddawkins.net though, so obviously they're slanted. Classic case of selection-bias.

Are there any Paraguayans here? No? Well, of course, their request for subsidies was not uh Paraguayan as it is, as it were, uh the United States government would never have if the President, our President had not and as far as I know that's the way it will always be. Is that clear?
 
Frankly, iot's been really hard biting my tongue on this issue. I think the social justice implications are clear to all, and I suggest all of the opponent should really examine their motivations for their posiitons. It's fairly obvious the effects of human cognition and the normal practices thereof have had on the way people have been elaborating.

I fully support your right to hold your position, but you can't really expect that such a stance would be free from criticism.

While the new outlook is commendable, it needs to be accompanied by real action. Your previous actions have been intrerwined with your previous outlook in a cycle of reinforcement, and you can't break that cycle if you ignore the aspect of feedback from your behaviors.

I'm always happy to discuss this, and as long as we agree on the facts, it's natural that interpretations can be radically different.
 
Diversity is great.
It's so nice to have people come together who have such different views on this topic, yet can discuss it so intelligently, disagree, but not be disagreeable and resort to name-calling.
