What's new

I fear this could come true

Star players don't bail on their championship-caliber teams just to be in a bigger market, at least not if they're getting paid.

Kanter/Favors 1 of 2 turns out to be an All-Star
Hayward/Burks - 1 of 2 becomes an All-Star

Out of the other 2 that don't become an All-Star they become a top tier boarderline star

If it played out that way we have our main 3 and can keep them all.

Odds of that happening - 1.4%

Dont want to think about that now, but bottom line is there is still free agency and if a player is willing to take less money he can play elsewhere when contract is up. If we are truly contending for championships by then we should be able to keep most of our players. Look at Durant.

"Look at Durant"? What are you talking about? He's been in the league 4 years - there's no guarantee he stays in OKC past his current contract (which, just like with LeBron and Co., has an opt-out clause).

it was not a pay sight. i got it for free when i clicked on the link.

I believe you, but it's showing up as a pay thing to me too. Which means I have to edit it out unfortunately...since I doubt you paid for a subscription to whatever podunk paper that is (why they charge is puzzling to me as well, but to each business model their own) I seem to believe you're right but this is the procedure we have to follow around here, or at least I do. I'll try my best to summarize it.

If it is the site really being dumb then by all means I have no problem putting the article back up.
