This should be in the draft thread. Go back into hiding. It was a day dream but I'm sure it will still happen. He should be there when we pick. The Jazz need a sharpshooter and he fits perfectly with our team. With Burks/Hood we don't need him to come in a contribute right away.
Make it happen!

There is book longer than Anna Karina dedicated to one topic that obviously in a theme for many on the board. We should have one thread for ALL trade concepts. One thread for all Jazz news. ONE thread for all player development. And a total of no more than 4 threads on the board. Sound good?
Mods, put this one in the backseat moderating thread please. (Mine goes there too.)This post belongs in the complaining about big threads thread.
Nothing to add.
i don't think we'll be drafting booker. i dont know much about most of the draftees but i did watch the final four, and he was by far the most disappointing player i saw on all the mock drafts. i couldnt even believe he went pro after that performance. looked like a second rounder or UDFA to me.
Per usual.
You only wish that were true. Then maybe your little light could shine.

Disappointing in what way? His last two games in the Tournament he played as role as a off the bench shooter.
Vs. ND he played 27 mins, 10 pts with 2-3 from 3. He added a couple of rebounds and a block.
Vs. Wisconsin he played 19 mins when 3-6 from the field and a rebound.
We should trade Gobert, Hayward, and Favors. I have, personally, witnessed a couple games they did not play well, at all.
I should've been more clear in my post but as I said to Qman, it was more about booker looking like a preschool kid guarding a college player. Calipari had to bench him against Wisconsin because he was getting tortured whenever he was on the court. Re-watch that game, and when he's in - I'd guess 99% of the time Wisconsin attacks him specifically and scores.
the fact that you somehow compared a freshman in college to three guys on the jazz who have already proven to be legit NBA starters should wipe out your credibility.
I snickered.
But whatever. I simply pointed out that you admitted you don't know much about these guys and then went on to profess how the NBA personnel must have it all wrong because you watched two games.
Credibility.
I said I don't much about a lot of the guys in the draft, but when I see something like Booker's defensive ability - it doesn't matter if I've seen him for 20 minutes of 20 games. That's no fluke. And where did I profess NBA personnel have it all wrong? How do you know where/how they value Booker? Because some fat white guys from the blogs all have him high in their mock drafts?
he got absolutely abused on defense. that's why he didn't play much against wisconsin. its one thing if he shot horribly. that can be attributed to a one-game fluke, but not being able to guard anyone isn't something that making/missing shots effects. that will translate to the nba. he's small for an off guard. if some team is dumb enough to take him and play him next season, opposing teams will be licking their chops.
