Man I just hope its that .7 that gets us into the top 3!!! So can Utahs 6th pick turn into the 4 or 5th pick? or just 1,2, or 3?

I think the 6th pick can only be 1, 2, 3, or 6, 7, 8, or maybe 9.
I think that's right. If you don't get a top 3 pick in the lottery, it reverts back to the original order of finish. In the Jazz case, it would be sixth.

I have no basis for this other than the fact that I never remember dreams and I woke up in the middle of the night with an extreme religious fervor on this issue the night before the lottery.
Then I got up and played Chad Ford's lottery machine and got the same result on the first attempt.
All the karmic dots are lining up.
It feels right. It is right. Kanter is our man.

In case anyone is interested, there is a podcast with Ford and his thoughts on the players in the draft. He said that Kanter reminded him of a tougher Carlos Boozer. He did say the sample size was a little worrisome with Kanter only playing in like 2 games he considered the equivalent of an AS game.
