I hate gsw

?? Who would risk a top 3 pick on Drummond??

Well may be the Kings...

I still think he will be the 2nd pick. I know he has his motivational issues, but he still had pretty good stats for his freshman year. 10 pts, 7.6 rbs, and 2.7 bpg in 28 mpg.

I don't really see him dropping out of the top 3, but I guess MKG could surpass him based on team's need.

I think what will happen to Drummond will be like what happened to Cousins. Cousins had way more talent, but was more of a head case. I can see Drummond dropping as far as 5 with Robinson & Beal going before him.

Again, my caveat is unless Kings gets to pick him before #5.

I don't see Drummond dropping past 2 .. just don't. Would be SHOCKED, actually.

I think he is saying the team is so screwed with selfish/lazy personalities that a guy like MKG is just going to get lost in the shuffle most likely.

I actually don't see that.

Tyreke becomes disposable now that they have Thomas locked at PG and Thornton at SG. So Tyreke's gone. You insert MKG in at SF. Thornton is clutch & wants to win. Thomas is a team first guy, so the only guy who's got an attitude problem in that line up is Cousins. And I don't think you can clap with 1 hand.

I have know Cuz since he was 15. He's a good kid/guy. MKG can definitely get through to him.

Cousins dropping to 5 was ridiculous in my opinion, but it happened because

A.) Philly drafted Evan Turner ahead of Favors for some extremely stupid reason that I do not understand.
B.) The Timberwolves had Kevin Love and for some reason decided to draft the 23 year old senior tweener SF who wasn't even good named Wesley Johnson.

That is assuming Sacramento is ready to give up on him (Evans).

Are you guys lost? Following the 2012 draft class is out there. Why are you in here? You are wasting valuable words of wisdom in here that could be adding up in that other thread. You need to try and get the most pages you can there. Plus whats the point of having duplicate threads?

So everybody out. Right now. This thread is closed.

We'll see.. but if I was a GM I don't think I'd go "ALL IN" on Drummond on #2..

At least Cousins seem to have that "fire"..

Cousins is a lazy sack of garbage. He picked a good coach in college that knew how to motivate him, but he has revereted back to being lazy, selfish, and volatile in the pros. All Drummond needs is a good coach and a team with enough patience to develop him.

Go read some Favors interviews about how he felt about the Net's staff and how they handled his development. He hated it and said it lowered his confidence and he felt like they didn't do it properly, but then he came to Utah and felt like he was actually getting coached and brought along properly.

We are getting the tank experiment going on right before our eyes. What Golden State is doing is embarrassing and not something I would advocate the Jazz to do. My version was different in that we have players of the future that we could put in there and try to win, and then just see what happens. GS is making an effort to lose games.

Nevertheless though we will get to see it play out for them if they get the pick.

I wish more understood this. Good post.
