I hate Locke

The one thing that annoys the heck out of me from Boler is when he says, "Nothing but net!" after it rattles around the rim 3 times.

I don't hate Boler, but he is without a doubt the worst guy ever at making a 3 point call. It's absolutely mind-boggling sometimes. I've seen him call shots a 3 when the guy was 3-4 feet inside the line. It's like he hasn't figured out he can look at the ref to see if the ref is calling it a 3 or a 2.

Locke should be happy Kanter kept quiet when he offered to be his shopping partner in California. Can you imagine shopping with Locke? That could be worse then with mother in law...
Seriously, dude is fanatical and dedicated about what he does but he is way out of touch sometimes. I do not hate him, but not a fan either.

I agree with the general assessment of Locke. I like the fact that he's talking about the Jazz pretty much year round, esp over the summer when I'm looking for anything Jazz related. He's a little annoying and over the top on the radio call but I find myself laughing more than punching myself in the face (gordon monson). He does say some cringe worthy stuff though, for example, this may have been mentioned, but did anyone notice the eye roll from Jeremy Evans when he went with the 'boingy' at the scrimmage? I felt bad for Locke on that one because he doesn't know yet that Jeremy HATES that. And the uber laugh at whatever he said with Favors. Those are the cringe moments that would be nice to do without but all in all, if I had to use my 'axe anyone in the jazz related media' I would use it on Monson.

I didn't like the way Locke has managed the interviews with the players on Media Day....he lacks of impartiality and his sense of humour is questionable.
I'm not a big fan of Boler and Harpring neither....in my opinion Ron Boone is the most entertaining Jazz commentator.

Hate is a strong word. He's annoying at times, but horrible? Nah.

He does have his moments though. Especially on his daily tip off show

What would you rather do than ride with Locke in an RV for 52 days?

Oh, I don't know ... a few things come to mind, like taking a vacation in Afganistan ... going door-to-door in Egypt passing out a 1000 free bibles ... chuming for great whites off the Astralian coast from a kayak ...

I appreciate him. I think he has interesting insights, or at least thoughts. That doesn't mean they're necessarily accurate.

Whatever. We should talk about this 15 more times.
