I have a question about Enes kanter

Hello jazz fans , i want to share my thoughts about utah jazz

i'm always trying to followed by the jazz matches actually i wonder if enes kanter's performance , i watch utah matches for enes kanter , but i cant watch him so much , only 4 minutes or 10 if utah selected enes kanter for team's future then why cant he get much minutes ,İf Cleveland or Toronto selected Enes Kanter then he would give 20-25 minitunes but Tyrone Corbin doesnt trust him and always same stupid reason , he didnt play basketball 2 years blah blah as for me Tyrone Corbin is rookie than enes kanter , he will never be like jerry sloan , utah jazz needs a coach like jerry sloan , Every body knows Utah jazz has no chance for championship and everbody knows Utah jazz is not like old utah jazz im wondering and asking you guys that are Utah jazz futures paul milsap and al jefferson or Enes Kanter and Derrick Favors? thank you for answers :)

If you give players minutes simply because they are the future it gives players the wrong attitude and some self entitlment. Now I am going to say if Enes Kanter was drafted by the Timberwolves, Cleveland, Wizards, Raptors, heck even Kings, he would probably be getting 20minutes a game at least and maybe 30+ in some of those.

Simply Al Jefferson and Paul are better then Enes at least right now and it is not even close. If Enes Kanter played like Tim Duncan when he came out of college then Enes Kanter would be getting 30+ minutes no matter what team he went to. Granted this isn't a realistic expectation.

Basically I'm trying to say if Enes Kanter gets better he will get more minutes. He is invisible on the court sometimes.

Honestly if Sloan were still here I don't think Enes would play at all. He has not shown to be better than Al, Millsap or Favors. I'm not sure he has shown to be better than Evans. I think the guy has a lot of potential though. I wish he was getting more minutes. But asking for Sloan over Corbin because of Kanter's minutes is a bit naive.

Enes is still very young. He has yet to turn 20 years old. That means he's like a sophomore in college, who missed a season as well. So you could say he's like a freshman in college. How many freshmen in college could go out and dominate in the NBA. Probably none -- maybe someone like Wilt Chamberlain or LeBron, though he didn't dominate as a freshman. You need to give him a couple of years before passing judgment. He already is probably one of the strongest guys in the league.

you cannot play him over the other big guys but he needs 15 minutes a game to make progress through the season. though I don't think he cares that much about minutes knowing that it's a part of being a rook.

Kanter hit the rookie wall at 120mph a month and a half ago. He showed some brilliance early on, but if he does not learn to keep the ball high he will struggle.

If enes came out this year where does he go? I am going to guess 10-12.

I agree with this but I still feel lik it needs to be closer to 20 than 15.

He's not playing because the Jazz are trying to make a playoff run and he is playing horrible right now.

He will have a whole off season/pre-season and come back much improved next year. I fully expect 3-4 Jazz players (depending on how many lotto picks we get) to be in the rising stars challange next year.

Jazz are always playing from behind, eliminating the easy minutes that Coach Ty could put Kanter in the games. Still, as a head Coach Ty should have been able to find more minutes for Kanter particularly with the first unit-- an early investment could've been paying dividends right now.

But, more distressing to me than playing time is that Kanter and Favors are showing very little noticeable skill improvement. yea, it’s a no training camp, no practice quick season.....but really 5 months of basketball, 4 assistant coaches and the two # 3 picks still look like a Kwame Brown and Rafael Araujo Impersonation Show.

Good point, agree.

Kanter has some games were he looks like he should be getting 20 minutes, he has some games were it looks like he shouldn't be getting any minutes. The only reason he has been able to get any PT this year is because of his rebounding, but even that has fallen off.

Favors looks a lot better than he did when Utah acquired him last year. He's got a move, a decent J, and is travelling a lot less. We've even seen some nifty passes out of him lately. Kanter is and always was a guy fans will need patience for. His minutes are down now, but he's still got an average over 13. He's played, and although he's looked lost he obviously wants to win and gives great effort.

There will be a bunch more of this next year if Utah gets and uses those 2 picks. That's the drawback. Those guys won't be very likely ready to be heavy NBA contributors.

Kanter is cleverer than you think, don't forget this young guy left his former team in turkey because of its agent (Max Ergul).
I'm 100% sure that kanter and Max Ergul will demand a trade this summer if jazz keeps AL and Paul.
Kanter has played only 6 games over 20 min.
Its recent poor performance are suspicious.

Favors looks like Kwame Brown???? GTFO.

I dont believe this to be true, but Kanter is the only one of the four I would be willing to let go. Say our 13th pick and Kanter for a chance at Drummond? Is that enough?

a guy with kanter's game doesn't demand a trade. at least not successfully. he needs to prove he can play at this level before he has enough value -- either enough value for the jazz to play him or enough value for the jazz to trade him.

that said, i'm not disappoitned. we knew he'd be a project when the jazz picked him, and i think he has made some progress. on several nights he has been a defensive game-changer, even for all his offensive liabilities. sure, he has regressed a little in the last couple of weeks, but it's normal for a rook to have some up-and-down play.

if he develops a couple more offensive tools this summer, that will be enough reason for corbin to play him more, because his defense really is miles better than al's.

Mellow, you exaggerate considerably. They are a lot better than that.
Yes, I might have exaggerated, but only a little to make a point.

Favors looks like Kwame Brown???? GTFO.

Here are their stats from each of their second season, both of them were 20 years old. You might guess who is who, but looking at this will make you sad.

the first thing memo advised kanter when he was drafted by utah was, you will have a long career, there will be times, you will struggle, you will get benched, you will not play at all, you shouldn't let yourself down , just keep working and working

i hope he listens that , his agent too, thats the stupidest thing to ask for a trade right now
