I cant get this trade idea out of my head (so that means it will never happen) but i think it makes perfect since for both teams involved. Now it would bring 2 new faces to the Jazz to a team that is already struggling knowing what to do but i think it makes the Jazz a better team. So here goes.....

Jazz trade

Andrei kirilenko and a player such as Price or Evans maybe Elson

To Philly

For Andre Iguadala and Andres Nocioni

You ask why would this happen well this is why Philly does it they save 20 millions dollars next year to bring in new talent. They move Iguadala who is very similar to Turner and they get a player that is a true 3 then save the money they could get a back up point in price or a center a position that they need in Elson or even some young talent in Evans. Iguadala's numbers are hurting this year and his trade value is dropping.

Why the jazz do it they get a scorer in Iguadala and Nocioni would fit perfect for the jazz as an inforcer. Her has similar numbers to AK less of a shot blocker but more of a postion defender. AI is an underrated defender and a fantastic passer. He is not a great jummp shooter which hurts but Nocioni is a good shooter. They are both decent rebounders for their positions which is desperatly needed.

This would give the Jazz a chance to slide Bell to the second team. Oh and save the Jazz almost 4 million (2 million + 2 mil luxury tax)

The scary part for the Jazz is the huge salary requirements for next year and AI for the next 3 years. I think it would be worth a trade depending on what Philly wants for him.

Williams, Watson
Iguadala, Bell
Nocioni, Miles, hayward
Milsap, Evans? (unless they take him)
Jefferson, Okur, Fesenko

If Okur comes back and starts hitting his 3 and rebounding some this team if they gel could beat the Lakers. This team has everything they need for a championship - Team Leader - Williams Outside Threat - okur and Miles (i hope) a 6th man - Miles and Okur and lock down defender - Bell inside game Jefferson and Milsap interior defense Milsap some but Fesenko i pray.

No way that would happen. Plus AK is playing pretty good this season so far and can probably net better than that package even if it's only 1 player in return.

I like how AK is playing, but I don't think it's accurate to say AK could bring back a better player than Iguodala unless the other team is under duress. Stephen Jackson maybe? The Jazz were considering moving AK for Boris Diaw.

Why am i nuts to trade AK for Iggy? give me a reason Ak is not rebounding the ball very well he is not blocking shots. When he does challenge it is half hearted. It is like he is to worried about getting hurt again. I know how that can be but as soon as a player starts to worry about their health more then playing their career starts to tank.

The only thing that Iggy cant do for the Jazz is be a consistent shooter that is why it all comes down to how well Okur is when he comes back.

Is Iguodala the missing piece to a championship? Because if we do this you better hope he is. He has 3 more years left on his deal AFTER this season. I would much rather resign AK for 6-8 mill and trade Okur's expiring next year for another piece. Trading for Iggy and Nocioni (who is making 7 million per for the next 2 years) would screw us financially. I can't see KOC doing that. If he did, we all know he would deperately try to trade Okur's expiring for cap relief next year.

Deron and Iggy together would be extremely fun to watch. It will never happen though do to the long term ramification to the Jazz.

honestly yes i think Iggy with this current team could be the missing piece. What i like about Nocioni is his mean streak. he doesnt mind doing the dirty work hsi stats are very similar to AKs and like i said i dont think AK has the killer instinct any more. I think the outside shooting will improve with the return of Okur. Not just the shooting but the guard ability to drive and dish and slash and score. He is going to pull the centers away from the basket.

It's a good trade idea. Iguodala would be great. Just to note that Nocioni's last year is a team option so he could be considered expiring next year if it doesn't work out. Those two players would be good value for AK.

But, based on that supposed Melo blockbuster with the Jazz settling for Diaw's non-expiring, it would seem that if the Jazz do trade AK, it would be for less salary to get under the tax or at least minimize the tax hit. Something like instead of getting Nocioni, Jazz management would rather have Philly sending him or a similar salary to a third team that's under the cap or with a TPE for salary matching.

nuts if you WOULDNT trade ak for iggy

iggy is a much much better player

Why would Philly do this because it saves them 20 million next year alone. They have been trying to get out of Iggy for a while. There could be some demands for a draft pick or a young player but with turner and Young coming on strong why not move him.

I doubt the Jazz would do this because of the money and I doubt Sixers would do this because of the disparity of talent in this trade. Sixers would need more talent besides just tax relief.

Considering how hard of a time we're already having fitting "new" players into the "system," the suggestion is to bring in another new player and get rid of, arguably, the starter who's playing his best basketball right now.

Two thoughts:
First- We've waited 6 years through this healish contract. Now when there is light at the end of the tunnel why trade it away for another inflated contract?

Second- I think that it will cost more than AK and change to get Igudola, and it would probably cost Hayward or a pick to get someone to take AK at all.
