Maybe this is the homebrew talking.....

but I miss having a Jazz team I can really root for. Just thinking back to Stock/Malone and the 2007 run and how much I love those teams.

I hope the trade deadline pans out and some sucker makes the Jazz a stupid offer for Al, cause I'm ready to love the Jazz again.

I don't deserve to say I feel ya, because I've only been a Jazz find for 3 - 5 years.. but I think I understand.

I do think we might get back by next year (to it being fun).

I humbly say I'm with ya.
 
I was thinking this same thing the other day... Even the boozer, Williams, Okur years were fun and you hung on to every win and lose...

Right now it just feels like... Hey KOC/Lindsey what the hell are we doing I want to root for my team!!!
 
ditto. I couldn't even justify paying the extra for root sports so I can't see any jazz games. something needs to happen before fans start to take their money to other pursuits. after all Utah has the best snow on earth.
 
The reason why I became a Jazz fan was back in 98. I played NBA Live 99 or 98 and dominated with Stockton and Malone. So I started to have bigger interest for this team.

What a pity that EA Sports has become a fail in Basketball.

Total word. I would love to see the training wheels come off and see this kid ride. Even if it crashes into a few trash cans at first.
 
I became a Jazz fan because I was really into jazz music back in the day. So naturally I loved the name and started rooting for them. I didn't even like basketball back then. I was into wrestling and jazz music, and that's about it.
 
I just want to thank BP for starting this thread. It feels like therapy to me. I agree with almost everything that has been said.
 
I still live and die by this team. Are they as fun to watch. Maybe not but I still hang on every win and loss. So I guess I don't understand were a lot of you are coming from. This is the team we have right now, So this is the team I well be rooting for.
 
Not trying to troll or anything like that, but I don't believe a damned word of this from anyone. Just reading the game threads you guys are very passionate about our Jazz, and hang on every big play or screw up.

I know the squedule has gotten easier, but were winning without both Mo and Hayward. I've never been more excited about this year then I am now. I feel we are in a dog fight to move up in the western conference.

If this is how you all feel, then why post here. I think you guys are frustrated, so am I, but let's face it, this isn't how you really feel. Sure you want changes made, maybe a new coach, and Al gone, and minutes for the young 4.

To say you have no interest in this team.... I don't buy it!
 
Im excited more right now than at anytime of this year so far because burks has been getting big minutes..... unfortunately guys will get healthy and burks will go back to less than 10 minutes most games and dnp's here and there :(

I would love watching this team if The Four were getting big time minutes on the court together..... next year SHOULD be awesome.

LOL. I bet you think that BYU is competing for a NC every year as well...
