Hey dudes,
I haven't been around much the past couple of weeks, and busy times lay ahead, so I thought I'd just let you all know that Millsap is teh ****. I hope we move Al, and then keep Pimpslap around beyond the deadline and well into the future.

#24 to hang from the rafters.

Ty: um....... right you are send in Derrick for me.

Millsap: (Points at coach) thanks coach

Also with Favors and Kanter improving, can we even afford to pay Millsap 8-10 million a year?

So what you saying we will pay more to Favors and Kanter? None of them earned it yet and to throw that type of money based on potential alone would be suicidal for franchise....

Risk you have to take IMO.

Both are hard workers with talent. That alone gets you paid if you have height combined with athletic fluidity, or in Favors case, being freaking athletic as ****.

Hell no, trade him too.
Luckily I dont think the Jazz FO over value him like the people here, but hopefully other teams do. He will be exposed once he gets the big money and is actually expected to be "the man". He will get owned night in/ night out..Sap is like the back up QB everyone loves...until he is the starter and people see why he was the back up...Sap isnt asked to be the main guy here and he relishes that and is able to do good job never being the focus of other teams...NEVER....
When he gets 12-15 per year, he will be expected to carry a team and will get played by the other team as such...and fail horribly. I know you Sap lovers cant handle the truth of this, but mark it down.

Please dont respond with your Al hate speak. Trade him too...
This is about Sap at 12-15 and earning that...IF the Jazz can trade him to someone who is foolish enough to think he is worth that much, do it..IF the Jazz can keep Sap at 10 per, AT MOST, then keep him...he can continue his "I work hard even though my size and talent level is lower than others" personna that people here seem to love and also it does help the team, for that money, do it...

Ouch bro. I don't think anyone is going to give Sap more than 12 million a year. I don't think anyone who signs Sap is going to expect him to "be the man". I would say his range is probably 10-12 million, and for the most part I think that is a fair price. Do I want to the Jazz to pay that? Not really.

Kris Humphries: $24M/2 years.
Millsap's starting demand will be in the $14-$15M range. Maybe he comes down to $12M if someone offers 4 years. He's going to get paid...a LOT! There are always teams that overvalue players.

Eventually managers will have to stabilize the FA market. Humphries is playing like **** right now, so I don't think he can really point to that deal and have it mean anything in a contract discussion. Humphries also got paid more because he agreed to a 2 year deal. A Humphries deal running 4 years would have been more in the 10 million range.

Millsap >>>>>> Humphries. Millsap will get offers early in FA. Worst case, Millsap takes a two year/$28M deal, then gets the same in 2 more years. He's young enough to take that risk.
