What's new

I Think We Can Officialy Put "Tanking" to Rest?

We can conjecture for hours on what is going on inside the heads of the players, and why they do what they do, but yes, it is possible that the players might have tanked a few games previously , but did not tank the last game.

Tonight could be a huge night for Utah. A Utah and GSW wins would be great. A phoenix and GSW win scenario is not bad either.

Any scenario where GSW loses is much less attractice.

You are going to get neg repped for that. Not from me mind you because I do agree that it is not the worst thing in the world if that happens.

That is fine. If people want to be blind to reality and hate that is on them.

Y'all know what is really funny? We have the same road record as the Warriors :(

Precisely why we need a lotto pick this year.

Yeah, because another young kid out of college with zero NBA experience is what we need to get us to win those tough road games where the refs are giving every call to the home team and the fans are going crazy every time you miss a shot...yep, precisely.

... or because our current roster will suddenly become a contender in a couple years. I really don't think there's a right or wrong answer, only different views through the crystal balls.

What we need is more talent. We aren't going to get the type of talent we need via free agency. Therefore it is logical to look at the draft. Could we get talent through trade? Of course, but in turn we are going to have to give up something valuable. I don't buy this whole, "we don't need another young kid" stance.

More likely they ran into a couple of games where they got some nice leads. Or that they have ran into other teams tanking harder than they are. I have seen some VERY weird plays from the Warriors late in close games. VERY WEIRD! In the end, I hope they didn't lose enough games. We'll see if that works out.

Have you watched the Warriors the past 10 years? This is nothing new.
