Let me preface my remarks by saying that I really like Coach Corbin and all of the players on this team

Remarks:

The lineup at the end of the game when it was 95-95 i.e. the last 3-4 minutes should have been:

Kanter, Millsap, Hayward, Miles, Watson

Big Al is great offensively when he has is it going with his up and under moves as well as his one handed turn
around jumpers. The down sides to his game are: 1) our perimeter players dump it down to him and then
stand around 2) he hasn't fully figured out when to pass out of a highly contested double team 3) not as good
of a defender or rebounder as Kanter.

Winning in crunch time (95-95 with 3-4 minutes left) is not just making shots it is equally important to get stops
and rebound. Kanter was playing Hibbert extremely well defensively. He can be a beast inside and Hibbert,
Amundson, West and Hansbrough felt that.

Hayward played Granger very well. Granger had 2 points at half. He apparently had 14 out of his 16 points in
the fourth quarter when Hayward was either not playing or had been switched onto George. Howard was covering
Granger at that time.

How Coach Corbin mixes and matches these lineups is critical going forward and I do think that although one
wants to establishes "rotations" at the same time one has to tinker with those rotations as one gets new information
(i.e. Kanter provides defense and rebounding in crunch time).

Thanks.

Corbin has no idea what he is doing. He has taken sloans blue print and just copied every last thing from it into his methodology and playbook. I'm willing to give him until the end of the season, but if he can't right this ship he needs to go along with big al and Harris.

i think he thinks he needs to end the games w/ AJ & Harris but look what Thibaduo (sp?) has done sitting out BOTH Boozer & Noah...
i also was questioning why he left Howard/Miles in the game & didnt come back w/ Hayward/Bell sooner.

I agree I thought Corbin should have stayed with the guys that made that comeback. When he subbed in the starters to finish the game we started losing again. We stopped playing aggressive defense. We lost.

It seemed obvious to me.

Great comments the Jazz had the Pacers on the run because of great defense. Kanter returned to the Bench and it was the first half all over again.

I am on record as an Al supporter, but he is not the future of the Jazz, he is what he is, a hired offensive threat. He should be traded at some point, but don't feel we should rush in to trade him. If KOC is patient we can get a bigger return for him. We need to let Al play out the season, and trade him in the off season. (around draft time)

If the Jazz miss the playoffs maybe trade him and our own draft pick for a higher pick to get a shoot at a good shooting SF

I would rather get a good defensive sf to go with Favors and Kanter, and become a great defensive team. I would love to get KG in the draft, then trade Harris and Bell or Cj for a mid to late first round pick, and then select Marshall, pg for UNC. I know a lot of people criticize him for lack of shooting and athletic ability, but I just have a feeling about him. I've made a point in watching him play over the last month, he is a great floor leader gets assists, and makes his teammates better because he knows how to get them the ball in the right spots. I'm not going to come out and say he is going to be a top 5 all time assist man for his NBA career, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it played out that way. Watson would be great to mentor him and take him under his wing for a year or two.

These do not have to be be mututally exclusive. One huge problem the Jazz have is they have no outside threat so defenses collapse on them. This is proven by the routine double and triple teams our bigs face. The other team knows we cannot beat them from outside.

I want the best player available. I value defense and layups more then shooting. We can find shooters in free agentcy. I think KG has a good chance to be an all-star.

Dear god... We won't have anyone on this team that can shoot if that happens.
