I would be shocked to hell if Trey throws up a game like that anytime this year.

Why is Clay Thompson on your list?

I was high on MCW at first, then was 50/50, then pretty cautious about him by draft night.
Everyone has said basically everything there is to be said about his performance, except one thing: remember, he's like two years older than Trey.
So are you predicting that Trey will have this same game on opening night in two years?

You do have to give props to David Locke though. He always stated that's who the Jazz should go after in the draft.
I'll be honest I was hoping we could either trade up and get Mccollum or nab Ollynk with our own pick. I had not even considered TB as an option(didn't think we had a chance) so he wasn't even on my radar.Ya know, I follow the draft thread fairly closely...and there were definitely not this many people calling for MCW. Just sayin.
Hmm, I don't remember that.
I ran into Locke at the game again last night. We be tight now.
I wanna be tight with him. Maybe "go after" is not accurate but he did always say he would be the best PG in that draft.
He referred to it in this mornings podcast.
I was one of the lone supporter for MCW as is clearly illustrated by this poll:

But I do realize that the FO may view MCW as too much of what Burks already brings to the table. Tall, athletic combo guard, with limited shooting ability.
One thing MCW had on Burks though, which was clearly the case even in college was his ability to make passes and get assists. His court vision is still miles ahead of where Burks' is. He was also a very good defender even though he had to play zone defines at Syracuse.
