What's new

If we lose to Charlotte tonight...

It may be the Bobcats, but damn, to hold a team to 24 points in a half says something about the Jazz D tonight.
It's has been such a pleasure to watch this. I hope the Front office is taking notice as well.

Some glimpses of youth showing there. Kanter passing out of the post straight into three Bobcats, Moving screens, etc. More than making up for it with their defensive play though. I wouldn't say it is as accurate as the score has shown (the Bobcats have been missing open looks later in the game due to their disenfranchisement) but it is obvious that this unit puts much more effort onto the defensive side of things.

I would wish that we'd roll out this lineup against a much better team, so we could see our players playing against a much more respected team.

Our players are still showing glimpses of youth, and Favors still hasn't got it completely rolling yet-- however, the most encouraging aspect of this game is how versatile our young core could be if they keep developing. Seeing Carroll, Burks, Hayward, Favors and Kanter all sprinting on the break like gazelles gets me completely fired up.

And for the love of God, can we quit it with the Al-bashing for one ****ing thread? Dutch, I am looking at you. For the love of God, leave it for the performances he plays in. Spare us for one ****ing game.

Definitely. I kinda hate Dantoni because his teams don't play D, but can you imagine an offensive and transition minded coach getting ahold of these young guys? Just deadly in transition.

What would be truly classic is making the playoffs, going against the thunder, and tightening the rotation so Al doesn't play.
