If you Replaced Conley with Prime Deron Williams...

Would the dynamic of this team be completely shifted? Williams, an elite playmaker could set up bigs with great looks inside, run an elite PNR/Fade/Pop, found cutters at an advanced rate, found wings/forwards open on the elbow at an elite rate, and overall was a fantastic floor general. This team has far more shooters than the Jazz of old, he'd set them up, more than likely every time down the floor.

Is it safe to say that Deron Williams at his best would be light-years better than any form of Conley. Of course, Conley's better days are behind him, but was Mike ever better than Deron when he (DWill) was in Utah and MC was in Memphis?

I do feel that a Deron Williams is what this team needs. Closest thing to that is CP3 (the irony)

Duh, of course we would be better. I dont think its a really fair question. Its better to ask if we would be better replacing Mitchell with DWill. We would not.

Would we be better if we replaced Bogey with prime Karl Malone? I think its safe to say Karl is lightyears ahead of Bogey. Even though Bogeys better years are behind him...
Apples and oranges IMO as Malone was a prototypical power forward. If we had DWill, Mitchell, Malone, Bogey and Gobert nobody could beat us. Celtic/Laker glory days dynasty level I believe!

Prime D-Will, even though it didn't last very long, was very even with CP3, IMO. He was actually superior when they went head-to-head.
I believe that we would be better. However, our defense would still be crap.

Would you replace Mitchell or Bogey with Kirilenko? The D would be great, but we would still likely be missing shooting.

If we are playing this game, replacing Hornacek with Mitchell wins numerous titles.

We barely lost to the Bulls. MJ didn't even have to work that hard guarding Hornacek while Pippen guarded Stockton.

Or replace anybody on that Stock/Malone bench with prime Joe Ingles.

Just swap Tag with Gobert, and we win all the titles. No other changes necessary.

Man, I’d forgotten how those Finals teams really didn’t have anyone worth a damn besides the big 3. Ingles by himself really would have been enough to put them over the top.

Anywho, I’d take prime Deron over Mitchell.

It would have been so fun watching prime Joe go at MJ. I think he would have frustrated MJ. It's amazing how more athletic and long players are now than back in those days.

That's a close one between Don and Prime Deron. I'm know I'm a fanboy, but I give the nod to Don. His playoff performances have been truly special.
