If you were coaching how would you set the rotation?

Millsap........38 min
Favors.........38 min
Hayward.....36 min
Burks..........27 min
Jefferson.....25 min
Harris..........20 min
Tinsley.........20 min
Carroll.........15 min
Kanter..........12 min
Evans............9 min

For 8 min run Hayward and Burks together at the guard spots. Hayward can run point for 8 minutes no problem.

Start the big 3

Bring Al out first at about the 6 min mark.

Make sure we use Jeremy Evans for a short period. He is an easy 6 points of the bench guaranteed, and blocked shot or two.

Out of Tinsley and Harris just go with the hot hand.

Gotta give Favors more minutes. Dunno what TyCo has up his *** on that one.
Cut out JHo almost completely unless he's in Hibachi mode.
Give Harris 30+ minutes. He doesn't do well when in a time share. He needs to be in a rhythm to succeed.
If you gotta give Tinsley PG minutes, then slide Devin to SG, but don't bench Harris.

I am very confused. I thought HH was banned and then unleashed his wrath yet here he is posting.

The one major problem I see is that favors is not in condition to play that many min. Had he played more min during the reg season then yes. but at the moment he drops off quickly when asked to play high min.

Harris (30) Tinsley (18)
Hayward(24) Burks (24)
Carroll.(18) Millsap.(18) Hayward(12)
Millsap.(20) Favors(28)
Jefferson.(30) Kanter(12). Favors(6)

Bell, Howard, and Evens should only play if players get injured, or get in foul trouble. I like this 9 man rotation.

I would also like to see what Blues suggests.
Im not going to break down the minutes but here is my take.

starters: Harris (playing just a little more than tinsley), Burks, hayward, millsap, favors.

Bench: Tinsley, carroll (a little bit), jefferson (with the big lineup), Kanter (a little bit), and evans (in with favors, millsap, burks, tinsley for a short time)

I don't know if I would ever put Kanter on the court. I would probably just make it so Favors, Sap, and Jefferson get all the time at the PF/C, with spare minutes of Sap (like 4-6 minutes) at SF. Kanter got crushed out there and did almost nothing positive (besides blocking Parker and making Pop really upset they didn't call a foul). I would probably put him in for 4 minutes a half, if he is playing good I keep him in a little longer.

I wouldn't play Howard. The guy kind of sucks. I would probably just go Carroll. He has shown he can pass and finish on the break, which is more than Howard can do. I would split all the SG/SF minutes between Burks, Hayward, and Carroll.

I would do what Corbin is doing with the PG. We need Harris to catch fire to have a chance, so we can't just completely give up on him if he is having a rough game.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Only thing I would add, is that I want Sap at the three more, especially if Leonard is playing.

I'd be interested in seeing a Hayward/Burks lineup. Maybe that would force Manu to defend Burks instead. Hayward seems to really struggle when he defended by Manu.

Millsap 38 minutes
Jefferson 38 minutes
Favors 35 minutes
Hayward 35 minutes
Harris 30-40 minutes based on how he's playing.
Tinsley 8-18 minutes
CJ 0 minutes
Howard 0 minutes

Beyond that, I don't care much. I'd like to see Burks get 10-15 minutes because I think he can do some positive things and it could be invaluable experience, but ultimately I don't think it's going to make a ton of difference in how competitive they are. I'd be fine to see Carroll get 7 minutes and Burks 7 minutes and then reward the guy who plays best the next game.

I would only play Hayward, Favors, Burks, Millsap, Carroll, Tinsley, and Harris. Probably Kanter and Evans a little as well to rest Favors. Al Jefferson need not play. His defense is almost the entire reason the Jazz lost. I think many people are caring about Howard starting too much. While Howard did play very poorly, Big Al was the much bigger problem IMO.

This is a perfect rotation...

Perfect.

As long as Ty Corbin is the coach and Al jefferson is on this roster, Favors will NEVER get more minutes than Jefferson. Keep dreaming

Where are all the Big Al defenders? Hiding behind the couch sucking their thumbs?

It is good to see his deficiencies exposed by Pops, along with D Harris. Need to lose both these guys to move forward. You will get nowhere with a C who plays zero D and a PG who is not a PG.

Run, run, run. Playing a set offense all game was dreadful. The only shot they have is to get out and run, and to scramble the defense when they cannot run. I'd go pure energy.

Harris (24), Tinsley (challenge old man Tin to 24)
Burks, Hayward, Howard (20) (20)(4)
Hayward, Carroll, Evans, Howard (16) (16) (6) (10)
Millsap, Favors, Evans (30) (10) (8)
Favors, Jefferson (26) (22)

Unconventional. Carroll does a suprising job at creating in certain situations. I want MOAR of that.
