If you're Lindsey what is your deadline move?

Personally if I get a over the top offer for Hayward or Kanter I would at least entertain them. But would d efinantly be looking to swing deals for Rush ,Jefferson, Marvin. I saw that someone referenced trading for Granger but no way to that. Wait to see what happens in the draft.

I try to move Marvin, Jefferson and Rush. Biedrins isn't going anywhere with that contract. At least the other three have the potential to help someone finish out the season without being a burden. I'd also probably look to facilitate a deal for a team and help make the pieces fit. If you can get any quality assets for those three guys, I think that you'd have to make the deal. They're all expendable contracts and players. Moving them ultimately gets more minutes and playing time together for the young core players. Win/win.

I wouldn't trade any of the Core5, Evans or Gobert. I'd like to see more of that group together before I'm in a hurry to break it up. Just think that there's so much potential for every one of those lottery picks to turn out well. Add a superstar to that lineup and they're in pretty darned good shape IMO.

I agree with trading away Marvin/Jefferson/Rush for second round picks, etc. No point in keeping them around if they are not a part of your future plans.

First I am sure you are trying to move anyone from the GS trade though doing so without getting something you don't want is a challenge. I am guessing they are all up for grabs but unlikely to be moved. Also, in my view you are not going to be able to keep the core 5 together even if you don't get a good draft pick this year. So if you could trade one of them for a great shot at a high draft pick or a highly coveted asset you think real hard about doing so. IMO this is more likely after the season ends and as part of a draft day move but still an option. Last is Marvin - same category as the GS boys. Hard to move without taking something back you don't want.

He has some value as an expiring contract for some team that is over the cap for the next couple of years, or for a big market team trying to prepare for next years Freeagent class. Biedrins is deffinetly tradeable

I am not so sure Marvin is not in the future plans though. We will need some quality veterans on this team no matter who we add to the roster via the draft. Why not Marvin? Seems like he likes it here. Seems like he has found his niche. Corbin is just an idiot who plays him far too much, but he is still young enough to be in the rotation for another 4-5 years effectively.

Trade the entire roster for picks.

Sign D-leaguers.

I vote for this.

The problem here is which team really would make a trade and which have the salaries to match RJs/Biedrins/Marvs/Rushs contracts? I just counted seven teams who would deal a player/don't use him/don't need him or want him.

1. Detroit Pistons: Charlie Villanueva($8,580,000)
2. Boston Celtics: Kris Humphries($12,000,000), Keith Bogans($5,058,198)
3. Charlotte Bobcats: Ben Gordon($13,200,000)
4. Denver Nuggets: Andre Miller($5,000,000)
5. Milwaukee Bucks: Caron Butler($8,000,000)
6. Orlando Magic: Jameer Nelson ($8,600,000)
7. Washington Wizards: Jan Vesely ($3,340,920)

From this seven teams/players which make really sense for BOTH sides?

- Charlie V would make sense for Rush or Marvin cause they need some wings but what do we get out of it?(2014 draft pick gone)
- Boston just tries to do what we do.
- I can see Gordon for RJ happening or maybe even Rush+Marvin(that's interesting! They have Portlands and Detroits 1st round picks, if DL is good we could at least get the Blazers pick. And to be honest Rush and Marvin would help them a lot!)
- Denver also need help at the wing especially when Gallo is really not playin no moe.(but they don't give away their pick. Or would they?
- The Bucks also tries to do what we do.
- So are the Magic.
- Could do Vesely for Rush (but they don't have really anything)

There could be some interesting stuff but it's not like there are numerous options.

I don't care what he does but he better do it quickly. Screw the trade deadline, this guy has until the half way mark -- 2 games.

Laker nation is calling my soul; I'm not rooting for a losing organization any longer. If Lindsey screws the tank pooch then I'm outie.

Trade Richard Jefferson and Marvin Williams in separate trades to veteran teams looking to make a push in the playoffs.

We don't need either of them and they are hindering playing time for Kanter, Rush & Gobert.

If we can trade Beidrins than do it for sure but I highly doubt anyone wants him.

Plus we make all of these moves to develop the young guys more. We don't need to win games so building chemistry is not important with these 2 players. Chemistry between the young guys is though.

Pretty much all season, Rush looks like crap when he's on the court, but I think it's more of an issue where our coach is incapable of tailoring/tweaking the offense to take advantage of certain player's skills. Rush is natural shooter, even as bad as he's played this season, he's still making 40% of his threes. If we had a better coach that understood how to take advantage of the 3 point line, Rush would be a keeper on this team.
