What's new

I'm Back: Toronto Raptors at Utah Jazz Wednesday, January 25th - 7 PM

Raptors have been very bad lately. We should blow them out early and get a lot of run for the young guys. We need Hayward, Favors and Kanter to build up confidence.

Should be a win but the next 10 have some tough travel scheduled so hopefully as much rest and limited minutes for the guys would be great. Even the games we do get rest are tough, but 4 out of 5 are at home so thats a positive.
1/27 - @ Dallas
1/28 - Sacramento

1/30 - Portland

2/1 - Clippers
2/2 - @ Golden State

2/4 - Lakers

2/6 - @ New York
2/7 - @ Indiana

2/10 - Oklahoma City

2/12 - @ Memphis

No kidding. What happened to the condensed, much more frequent games. Once again, I have been duped by someone on tv wanting my money...

Easy tiger. This is the first and last 3 day break the Jazz have this season. They play tomorrow, Friday , Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday...

18 and 0!

Last year, the Jazz would crap out these easy games and make them much harder than they needed to be.
Hopefully that won't happen this year (and it hasn't). Hopefully Evans gets some playing time.

Bargnani is back so that poses a problem. Can Millsap guard him because Jeffy is too slow.

Our frontcourt has done an exemplary job of shutting down opposing 4 and 5s in the NBA thus far. I don't think one power-forward or center has gone off on us so far this season. I think Gooden from the Bucks is the only exception I can think of.

Bargnani has been great in the Raps games I've seen, and he'll pose problems for either Millsap or AlJeff. If the Jazz continue to play tight D, and rotate competently, this should be a win, as Toronto does a terrible job of getting easy buckets (in transition, off offensive rebounds, and around the basket in general).

I agree Millsap and Jefferson will struggle to defend Bargnani but I think they will abuse the **** out of him on the other end. I hope Evans gets some playing time I think he might be a good defender on Bargnani and wont get pushed out of the paint on offense.

He's finally playing well? Seems like he was always soft, and underachieving. Haven't seen him this year yet.

And I am jealous of happily single people.

What can I say, the grass is greener on the other side.

Having the care free anything goes bachelor life style looses its luster as time goes on. I am exceptionally good at it but I was built to be a family man.

Bargs is secretly having a monster year. The fact he plays in Toronto and he was hurt is probably the reason he has flown under the radar. But even defensively he's playing well.
