He is simply a charming, modest, authentic kid. I love it. I love it that it is also he's charechter on the floor (as much as youcan tell from 1 game) - passing, unselfish, teammate.

I was'nt high on him before the draft but I must tell you I can not remember the last time I felt this kind of sympathy for a young BB player.

I really don't want to offend anyone but most of them get out of college feeling they are the kings of this world, and mainly folowing the instructions of their media advisors etc.

Maybe it is a cultural thing, and because he was out of the college scene and from down under (I really wonder what type of music does he like BTW) he seems so different.

I don't know how good this kid can get, but I have a gut feeling that he will become my favorite person on the team.

Which, for me at least, is very important.

I think the same can be said of Hood. Not as much talent as Exum, but he is so easy to like. And he comes from a wonderful family: parents are educators. There are zero red flags, yellow flags or concerns of any kind with these two. If the Jazz go with the starting line-up of Burke, Burks, Hayward, Favors and Kanter, the 2nd group might be even funner to watch with Exum, Gobert and Hood out there.

Sounds great. I'm expecting a fun year.

I see some similarities between Antetokounmpo and Exum in terms of modesty and good attitude.
International players are almost always more humble!

I think a lot of that is the AAU system. It "develops" teens in a way to make them all believe they are future NBA stars. They rarely practice, and constantly play games in front of scouts to showcase their games. When someone is telling you at 13 years old that you will be a future NBA star, it's probably hard to stay humble. Exum was quoted as saying that as he was researching American colleges to attend he saw his name on an NBA draft board and thought it was a mistake. That's humility!

The kid's amazing. It's so rare to have a chill/humble kid that also has a killer instinct on the floor. He's got a lot to prove, but having just turned 19, he's got time to do it. Bless you Orlando.
