Good with what?I’m good with this.
Who was I pigeon-holing? I just suggested that we choose another quarterback. I wasn’t trying to say we should designate each of our picks for each position. My o-line is made up primarily of guards, but I was planning on presenting it as my chosen offensive linemen, not designating anyone to any particular positions.Pigeon-holing people into certain roster spots is silly. Obviously we need at least five offensive lineman and a front seven…and so forth.

Are you planning on drafting Alex Smith with the thought of him switching between tackle and guard?
Giving people the freedom to fill out their teams however they want.Good with what?
Okay. I misunderstood you. I read it as you potentially wanting to draft someone who is known for being a certain position but saying you were going to play them at a different position. I agree with you. Add a couple of flex picks and we can pick who we want. Are we doing it for both offense and defense or just two extra picks for anyone at any position? Just want to clarify for my future plans.Because you’re saying we should draft another qb. There’s no reason to do that. No successful NFL team played rotating qb’s. But if we add two roster spots, go for it. Draft a second one. But don’t pigeon-hole me into doing so. It’s the last position I would draft again.
I think Wes is advocating that we each put our teams together however we want as long as we cover minimum needs (ie - at least seven front 7 players and 5 offensive line) with a couple of extra flex picks to focus on whatever areas of emphasis we want to. Do I have that correct?Okay. I misunderstood you.
