Interesting video on Kyrie vs Thomas - where would Burke fit on the continuum?

I don't think anybody is saying he's going to dominate, but he will easily be the best PG the Jazz have had since DWill. He'll be as good as Mike Conley and better than Jeff Teague.
 
I think people will be surprised by Burke's change of speeds, thats the one thing that really stood out to me. He's a lot quicker and craftier than people give him credit for. His top gear is not as fast as Lawson or Thomas, but he can change speeds really well.

As I've stated many times here, I think he's going to struggle, ala rookie Hayward, for most of the season and turn it on towards the end. He's going to be good.

Both were coming off of sophomore campaigns as well.



All I'd say, is that Burke is gonna get more consistent minutes from the get-go, than Hayward. I predict a similar trajectory, but him turning it on a lot earlier.


Very excited for this season, nonetheless

That's like claiming UGLI's 20,000 post volume makes him Shakespeare.

I defended Trey against public outcry over his Ian Clark re-tweet. That means more than hosting a prayer forum when pretty much everyone wanted him drafted.
 
I also envisioned his arrival with my cryptic comeback from perma-ban screen name in 2011: Alec TreyBurk, sucka.

Who knows. I didn't really post THAT much until after Sloan got the boot. So probably not. But I'm sure I could find something early 2012 if I really wanted to.

Regardless, my homerism for Burke was consistent for a very long time, as everyone on this board (yourself included) knows.

I remember your Alec Trey Burke account, or w/e. Thought it was cool, cuz I was a big Trey Burke fan back then. Thats probably what you're referring to. But I don't recall every seeing you pimp Burke.

I never read that 1000 page 2013 draft prospects monster so probably missed all them.

I figured out the search function is broken and only pulling up threads started when I'm specifying to search entire posts, so no worries the board matrix doesn't hate you.
