AK has value, but I wouldn't play him over Hayward or Williams (or Burks) and that is what you'd be doing. Even assuming we didn't pick up Foye, you give 25 mins to AK and you automatically reduce Marvin to 23 and slot Hayward in at SG only. Play him his 30 and Burks only gets 18. Or heaven forbid, you put AK at PF and add to an already crowded situation there.
AK was not a good fit for the Jazz. With a dominant inside force in Jefferson - and hopefully Favors - the Jazz need a SF who can hit some shots. AK is not that guy, despite what Borat says. Last season he played with Utah, opponents literally had one foot in the paint, just daring him to shoot wide open 20-ft'ers.
Marvin is more versatile and Hayward is an up-and-coming star. Gordon "slumped' to 46%/35% last season.
