Is Burks in Play?

Let's look at the evidence. The Jazz played better when he went on the DL than when he was on the roster although the player who shall not be named leaving had a lot to do with that. Perhaps Burke, Burks and No. 12 for Kniks No. 4?

Of course he is. The only untouchables, imho, on the Jazz are Gobert, Hayward, and Favors.
I know a lot of people disagree, but Exum should be on that list too. Flashed too much potential to move on from him after a single season.

Burks and Hood are options, but not for any player in this draft. At least not for me.

If you could trade Burke, Burks and No. 12 for the #4, I'd fly to NY and cart Porzingis home in a wheelbarrow for the rest of the summer.

The Jazz did not immediately become better when Burks got hurt. It had more to do with the time the players were in the system and their comfort level with the system and each other than it did with Burks. I'm not a Burks homer but to in any way blame him in the better play seems disingenuous.

I'm an admitted Burks homer so I hope that he doesnt get traded, however you can't blame the Jazz for exploring what they can get for him. But I'd hope they'd see how we plays under snyder when he is healthy. Dude could have a break out year

It was way more than that. Exum starting instead of Burke, Gobert instead of Kanter, team becoming familiar with the plan and each other in that plan, and Hood becoming healthy. It's not like we immediately got better when Burks got hurt. It took a while after he was gone. I attribute non of our improvement to his absence. Not a single bit. Actually I think our improvement would have been more dramatic had he been healthy.
