Is Chosen One the most overhyped player of all time?

I thought about titling this is Karl Anthony Malone better than LeBron but y'all wouldn't take me serious. He is tho. If Karl went championship hunting like LeBron he'd be in the GOAT discussion today. What has LeBron done, really? 11 years in now and he has two whole bought and paid for championships from a tailor made squad that should have won four, even though those wouldn't come close to beating a single team Malone went up against.

11 years in, 2 championships bought, in a bad era. How many years does he have left? How many more does he have to win to not be taken as a hype ten years in the future? Imagine if Malone was playing today and decided San Antonio should hire him instead of Ginobili and Splitter? LBJ would have zero and Malone 10.

**** LeBron, **** Phil Jackson, and **** Trey's mother. Twice maybe.

Lebron really is championship hunting by playing for the cleveland cavaliers.
He is laundering cash and career karma.

I would have believed him if he kept and raised Wiggins. Would be a fantastic journey for basketball. A historical one. But instead the coconut head superstar my *** chose once again to suck as a heroic figure and look like a spoiled businessman.

I don't think this is a bad era of basketball.
Quite the opposite.

I was impressed that he took a wretched cavs team to the finals twice.

But ya I agree that if Malone was playing now and teamed up with ginobli, Parker, duncan, and pop he would win all teh chips

With Malone on court, this league would worn off of getting bumped hard all the time and retire early.

Once.

What has LeBron done? Lol.

I forgot I had made this...

He was sold as the greatest player of all time. The guy who would take title GOAT away from MJ, and step over the corpses of all the other NBA greats. What has he done to prove those expectations correct? He has two full titles big whoop. Shaq bought that many too. He couldn't beat Dirk, only beat OKC because Rose went down and OKC traded away an all star to make the count 2 vs 3, and never beat San Antonio. The only reason he got that championship was because Danny Green's 3 point shooting went into the toilet. The Spurs beat themselves.

So what has he done to prove he isn't the most overhyped player of all time? When all is said and done I believe he'll fall from potentially #1 GOAT to somewhere in the 10-15 range.

For me MJ is the GOAT. Non debatable.

It all boils down to one stat "6-0".

Lebron is a generational great but he has not lived up to his insane hype.

I thought he was hyped as a superstar who would be the best player in the nba at some point and win championships.

Superstar, check
Best player in the league, check
Championships, check
****loads of mvp's, check

Career over with already, nope.

If you guys thought he would be greater than mj and win all teh championships then that's your own fault for over-hyping him.

He has already lived up to the expectations I had for him

2-3 in the finals is not living up to his hype.
This argument is so bad. In your mind 2-0 is better than 2-3, admit it. Now think about how stupid that is.

You also probably think that Montana's 4-0 is better than Brady's 4-2, also ridiculous.

5 finals appearances, that's impressive. Two wins is good too, think of all the great players who have none.

Oh and btw career isn't even over yet. What if he wins one back home in Cleveland?

What is wrong with people today????

Coming out of High School top 5 ALL TIME is not living up to the hype? What the ****?
